The original was taken out to Ibiza this Summer and serviced to the Island’s DJ’s, with a string of rave reviews. Initially road tested by our very own Rob Roar, this was a must-have signing to the Phonetic label.

Stepping up on remix duties is Robert James of Hot Creations fame, who delivers a quality remix giving us an insight into the talent that he is. Phonetic protégé Jay Robinson has been causing Global dance-floor damage fast hailing a string of Tastemaker fans including Laurent Garnier, Eddie ‘Temple’ Morris, Mixmag and TS7 (Kiss FM). Al Bradley, one of the fabric London residents, takes things on a deeper Techno journey, which is already doing the business on the Fabric dance-floors.

There's not really much else to say about this one. The names dropped in the title alone lets your ears know what they're in store for.

Detroit's Burden brothers, more commonly known as Octave One, have been making classic techno from their roots since 1990 – and, much to our pleasure, have continued to produce, DJ and play sensational live sets as though no time has passed. 25 years on, their music still fuels the dancefloors of 2nd gen. techno lovers, as well as being picked up and reworked by modern dance music's most valuable players –  of which Paul Woolford is most certainly one.

When asked about his "Lose Myself" rework, Paul shared that Octave One and their 430 West label "have been inspirations to me for so many years. We met through mutual friends and immediately connected, following various gigs together globally. It was an honour to be invited to work on something for the Detroit label. My intention was to bring out the soulful edge of Octave One's sound and place it within the framework of a track that would work towards the end of the night." UK producer Paul Woolford continues to showcase the scope of his sound with his debut release on Eats Everything and Nick Harris' Edible Records, featuring the bassy, driving and melodic track ‘Meditate’.

Following standout releases on XL Recordings, Running Back, Houndstooth, Hotflush and Aus Music, Woolford broadens his reach by gracing a young label on the rise in Edible Records. With a touch of playful production, his new material fits nicely on the imprint.

‘Meditate’ comes as the B-side to Woolford’s ‘Chaos’ EP and is one that possesses a progressive nature, building into a euphoric display of strings as the track glides through steady bass and percussion.

The new release comes just as the summer months are on the horizon, with Woolford set to head to Barcelona on June 15 to perform at the Edible party alongside Eats Everything b2b Patrick Topping b2b Richy Ahmed, Lauren Lane, Mele, Waze & Odyssey, Elliot Adamson and more.

The ‘Chaos’ EP is set for release on April 28.
