Inside Brain is the epic new project from legend X-Side (Luis Cruz/Mexico) and Psygeneration (Edi Jesus/Portugal) - and marks a return to the night full-on sound that launched the X-Side project in its early years. 

Joining Inside Brain is Tetrikal (Alan Perez / Mexico) - no stranger to the Mexico night full on scene, with releases on respected labels such as MMD Records and Dropland Records as well as our very own Made in Mexico compilation series! 

Back to the Roots features 2 slamming collaborations - starting off with ‘First Step’ - a fittingly named track that fuses aggressive leads with goa influenced grooves. The result is a bouncy psychedelic monster! The second collaboration is ‘Parental Advisory’ - a methodically constructed belter of a tune equipped with powerful basslines and laser sharp leads designed to make you MOVE! 

Big up to the artists involved with this release - especially X-Side who pulls triple duty on production, artwork and mastering. Enough said - it’s time to do what we do best. Take us to your speakers - it is time to go Back to the Roots!

Jose alejandro reyes escalante, originario de coatzacoalcos veracruz, nació en 1994,descubrió  su gusto y su pasión por la música electrónica desde el 2011 ,  más adelante acudiendo a fiestas locales de psytrance , y descubre sus capacidades como dj set, acudiendo a eventos y compartiendo en fiestas con artistas ,como; Doc murder, Drystortion, T.C.N, y entre otros mas , cabe mencionar que actualmente  inicia un proyecto llamado ; Skull Dose,en el 2023 el cual está orillado a sonidos envolventes de noche , con leads poderosos llenos de energía y poder.

Ishikawa is Angad Kapoor from Mumbai, India and now based in San Francisco, USA. At age 14, he first came into contact with psytrance listening to Infected Mushroom’s Psycho and that was the beginning of a lifelong obsession. Over the years his interest grew in music for the twilight hours featuring music from the likes of Scorb, Digital Talk, and Rubix Qube alongside his first love that was epic morning and full on music paced. In 2010 he decided to join Phonix Records with the intent of promoting upcoming artists and above all – pushing nothing but good music. Since then he has gone to play at a number of festivals - Equinox (USA), Caracha Experience (Mexico), The Great Funspiracy (Canada) to name a few. In 2011, he joined the legendary Mechanik Records family till it finally closed down. Today he has diversified his sound palette into groovy forest music from the likes Blacklite Records, Looney Moon Records and Bom Shanka Music running from 148-152 bpm. His mixes have been regularly featured on a number of radio streams now, Radio Schizoid (India) where he helped organize show & interviews, Pump Up The Volume (France), Boomadelic (Israel), The Cheeky Grin (Australia) and Babaganousha (Germany).  Fast forward to 2019 Ishikawa proudly manages Phonix Records as well as represents Kaos Krew Records as a DJ. In 2020, Ishikawa also created a new DJ alias -Saturate- focused on melodic house music for slower grooves. Today, with 11 compilations to his name, over 50 releases overseen on home label Phonix Records - Ishikawa is at his happiest listening, sharing and spreading psytrance music.

In 2010, Paulo Etnarama was inspired to support fresh up and coming psytrance producers acts in twilight psytrance, and thus Phonix Records was born in London. Later that year he found his partner in crime - Ishikawa, a fellow traveler in the cosmos who shared the same vision. Together they worked tirelessly with the aim of providing sonic scientists and wizards the means to be heard by audiences galaxy wide.

Fast-forward 3 years to 2013, Etnarama goes on sabbatical and Ishikawa takes the reigns to manage the label. Since then - Phonix Records has now branched from its home in the UK with representation across USA, Portugal, and South Africa. Over 15 years and over 50 releases, they have released fresh releases featuring all the flavors of the twilight spectrum. Today they proudly support an ever-growing roster of new and established producers from across the globe including France, South Africa, Mexico, Portugal and Canada.

Focusing completely on the music for the twilight hours, Phonix Records has constantly been pushing to release nothing but the very best in super powered, hyper charged, 100% unadulterated twilight psytrance! They strive to leave their mark on the psytrance scene as a serious label known to support the music they love.

Alan Jair Pérez Santos a.k.a SLEEPY CHK nace el 10 de Diciembre de 1991 en el D.F empieza su carrera a los 15 años mostrando desde ahí su interés en los sonidos del Psytrance, asistiendo a Raves y fiestas locales, con el paso del tiempo su evolución musical permite que para 2013 nazca el proyecto llamado TETRIKAL donde se caracteriza por sus poderosos beats & deslumbrantes mezclas en el género HIGH TECH, esto lo ha llevado a pertenecer al gran sello Español, Dropland Recordings / Bacercelona, Ibiza además de poder  tocar en diferentes ciudades del país y en pistas de baile exigentes compartiendo las mismas con artistas tales como:
