Synthesized by the entity known only as Distant Touch (Ashley MacLaughlin) - the mysterious scientist known to hail from South Africa. Symptoms include uncontrollable body movements often resulting in dancefloor stomps, overclocking of neural processors, bursts of euphoria accompanied with bone shattering chills caused due to elevated endorphin levels. Distant Touch - Logic Error

In 2010, Paulo Etnarama was inspired to support fresh up and coming psytrance producers acts in twilight psytrance, and thus Phonix Records was born in London. Later that year he found his partner in crime - Ishikawa, a fellow traveler in the cosmos who shared the same vision. Together they worked tirelessly with the aim of providing sonic scientists and wizards the means to be heard by audiences galaxy wide.

Fast-forward 3 years to 2013, Etnarama goes on sabbatical and Ishikawa takes the reigns to manage the label. Since then - Phonix Records has now branched from its home in the UK with representation across USA, Portugal, and South Africa. Over 15 years and over 50 releases, they have released fresh releases featuring all the flavors of the twilight spectrum.
