Sonic wizard Ionkhe decided to take things deeper and darker, pulling deep from the shadows within … Finally culminating in the eerie and spooky “Sociopath”. Precisely calculated, honed to a sinister edge, a fitting sneak peek of what to expect from Ionkhe over the coming months!

Ionkhe is a psytrance project created by Ivan Figueroa, DJ / Producer born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
The name of Ionkhe is a mixture of 2 words: ¨Ion¨ from ¨Illusio¨from Latin, it means illusion. ¨Khe¨ is the second half of the psyche word, of Greek origin, which means ¨ human soul. So, Ionkhe can be defined as a human illusion.
Ionkhe invites you to immerse yourself in a mystical trance, touching the sensitive fibers that stimulate the capacities and functions in charge of controlling the thought, emotion, and personality of every individual.
 
Starting as a DJ in 2015, his introduction to the Mexican scene began by organizing events at Xikury Pulquería, a pioneering forum in his style in Mexico, working with many national and international artists. Later he began to work on its production, releasing his first releases on Phoenix Records (USA / UK) and later on Nexus Media (SA).

He is currently part of the ¨Caracha experience¨ organization, a project that began in mid-2021 and was carried out at the Hotel / Hacienda Caracha located in Caracha, Michoacán. Which in its first edition exceeded expectations and promises to be a great annual festival.

Ishikawa is Angad Kapoor from Mumbai, India and now based in San Francisco, USA. At age 14, he first came into contact with psytrance listening to Infected Mushroom’s Psycho and that was the beginning of a lifelong obsession. Over the years his interest grew in music for the twilight hours featuring music from the likes of Scorb, Digital Talk, and Rubix Qube alongside his first love that was epic morning and full on music paced. In 2010 he decided to join Phonix Records with the intent of promoting upcoming artists and above all – pushing nothing but good music. Since then he has gone to play at a number of festivals - Equinox (USA), Caracha Experience (Mexico), The Great Funspiracy (Canada) to name a few. In 2011, he joined the legendary Mechanik Records family till it finally closed down. Today he has diversified his sound palette into groovy forest music from the likes Blacklite Records, Looney Moon Records and Bom Shanka Music running from 148-152 bpm. His mixes have been regularly featured on a number of radio streams now, Radio Schizoid (India) where he helped organize show & interviews, Pump Up The Volume (France), Boomadelic (Israel), The Cheeky Grin (Australia) and Babaganousha (Germany).  Fast forward to 2019 Ishikawa proudly manages Phonix Records as well as represents Kaos Krew Records as a DJ. In 2020, Ishikawa also created a new DJ alias -Saturate- focused on melodic house music for slower grooves. Today, with 11 compilations to his name, over 50 releases overseen on home label Phonix Records - Ishikawa is at his happiest listening, sharing and spreading psytrance music.

Sylvain Cornut aka Brain Driver discovered electronic music in 1995 when he attended his first rave in the south of France. He was immediately attracted to this world and after attending many more parties, he bought his first turntables in 1997. He performed at many free parties and nightclubs and in 2001 decided to try his hand at creating his own tracks under various pseudonyms.

In 2004 he attended his first psytrance party, which was a true musical shock for him, and to this day this music and its raw power have definitely changed his life. 
In 2006, he felt the call to create psytrance and Brain Driver was born. Since then he has played at numerous parties alongside great artists such as Talamasca, Absolum, Phatmatix, Hyper Frequencies, Geko, Freeze, Artsense, Double R.E.L, Highko, Laughing Buddha, Dick Trevor, Funky Dragon, Illiuchina , Biokinetix to name a few.

He has over the years released various tracks with the likes of Fractal Records, Dropland Recordings, Hadra Records, Terrorlab Industries, Nexus Media, Kaos Krew Records, Mechanik Records, Phonix Records and more... 

2015 saw the release of Sleepless Patterns Part 1 on Fractal Records – the first part of his album which is to be released over a period of time on 3 separate digital E.P’s and thereafter as a full CD album. 

2016 promises to be an exciting year with the release of Sleepless Patterns Part 2, a versus EP and various remixes and single tracks planned.

Brain Driver is an experienced and talented artist who is guaranteed to please the hearts and minds of any dance floor.

In 2010, Paulo Etnarama was inspired to support fresh up and coming psytrance producers acts in twilight psytrance, and thus Phonix Records was born in London. Later that year he found his partner in crime - Ishikawa, a fellow traveler in the cosmos who shared the same vision. Together they worked tirelessly with the aim of providing sonic scientists and wizards the means to be heard by audiences galaxy wide.

Fast-forward 3 years to 2013, Etnarama goes on sabbatical and Ishikawa takes the reigns to manage the label. Since then - Phonix Records has now branched from its home in the UK with representation across USA, Portugal, and South Africa. Over 15 years and over 50 releases, they have released fresh releases featuring all the flavors of the twilight spectrum. Today they proudly support an ever-growing roster of new and established producers from across the globe including France, South Africa, Mexico, Portugal and Canada.

Focusing completely on the music for the twilight hours, Phonix Records has constantly been pushing to release nothing but the very best in super powered, hyper charged, 100% unadulterated twilight psytrance! They strive to leave their mark on the psytrance scene as a serious label known to support the music they love.

Sonowolf is the DJ project of Alex, a lycanthrope with a peculiar taste for deep groovy, psychedelic techno and progressive sounds. Born in Canada but raised mostly in northern Portugal and Galicia, Spain, Alex was introduced to the techno and psytrance scene as a teenager. He fell in love with electronic music and has never let go. His travels have highly influenced his musical tastes, which he describes as "spiced" with influences from around the world, bringing a fresh twist to the genres he plays.
Sonowolf plays chunky, grooving beats with an eclectic vibe. He's an old dog with unexpected tricks.
