'Disappear (Dissolved Remix)' is a 2024 darkwave remix by Fra(g)mentation, of Ana George’s debut single ‘Disappear’. Fra(g)mentation’s electronic instrumental composition for this remix, brings a new, exciting energy and sound to the original song. The lyrics explore unhappy relationships, reflecting upon loss of self and identity, and the power of artistic expression.

 This is a song that Chris wrote on the drums, bass, and guitar and shared with the collective. We all love working on Chris's songs, and got to work on it even more enthusiastically than usual. Josh was up first with his lap steel, which he weaves throughout. He also added the sitar at the beginning and the acoustic sitar at the end. Stephen stepped in and added the gnarly electric sitar at the end. JJ also made his presence heard by adding the thrilling organ and electric piano throughout. Ken then augmented Chris's original drums with his own in expert fashion. Last, but not least, Tez added his electric guitat magic to the stew, as well. 

  Since Chris brought this song to the group, and is a fine producer, he did the honors of the mix and production. 

  This is our latest with Chris, whose music we all adore. If you dig this, you should go check out his page, as it contains lots of wonders to hear. We all hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

Endless Escape

A deer scared by tourists and a goat with a bag over its head heads to the hills, and finds sanctuary at the temple. Although I've lost all my pictures from Nara, so this one is from Sweden!
Galloping rhythm and bass with some esoteric arps, heavy pads, building up into a light, yet heavy, melody and crescendo.
Made in Ableton with Arturia Analog Lab and the classic synth sounds of Katsuhiro Chiba. There is a little bit of Ennio Morricone in there too. The final bell gong is the Shoro of Enryakuji Buddhist temple on Mount Hiei, near Kyoto, Japan.

„Schattenblätter“ (14.11.2024)

Filigrane Blätter wiegen sich im kalten Nachtwind. Das Lebenselixier entzieht sich von Tag zu Tag aus dem Geäst der Bäume und Sträucher. 
Die nächtlichen Schatten dieses abschließenden Jahreszyklus kommen näher. 
Alle Blätter werden zu Schattenblättern. Von Zeit zu Zeit lässt das Mondlicht in der Nacht ihr übrig gebliebenes Blattkleid bizarre Schatten tanzen.
Bald wissend, dass sie vom letzten Hauch des Herbstwindes davongetragen werden.
Schwebend leise nur ein zartes rascheln ist zu hören.

"Shadow Leaves" (11/14/2024)

Filigree leaves sway in the cold night wind. The elixir of life is draining from the branches of the trees and bushes day by day.
The nightly shadows of this final annual cycle are coming closer.
All leaves become shadow leaves. From time to time the moonlight at night lets their remaining leaf dress dance bizarre shadows.
Soon knowing that they will be carried away by the last breath of the autumn wind.
Floating quietly, only a gentle rustling can be heard.

When I was out with my dog yesterday I got this melody stuck in my head ...when I got home it was still tormenting me. It's simple childish melody but I had to get it out my head so I could find peace once and for all.

So I made build around the melody into this track to release it from my mind. 

But I was strongly going to keep this track private because it is not as elaborate and ambitious as my other works. Rae and Pax convinced me to open it as music-making is, after all, mostly about sharing one's feelings and this was the feeling I got when I was out with my Lia.
