2022 is coming to an end… What a ride it was! Finally after 2 years it was allowed to come together and celebrate in the clubs again so that's what we did 🥳

Today I want to share my recording of our first Mystic Creatures Showcase (@mystic-tales-berlin) @kater_blau in June. I played the closing @ Acid Bogen from 9:30-12:00 Saturday morning. Thanks to the @ursl crew for inviting us 🙏 Although there were just around 20 people dancing, the vibe was amazing and our Mystic Family was there  🥰  Thank you, I enjoyed it a lot!
To be honest I wasn't quite sure if I should upload it or not, but I never want to regret not uploading a set again. Although I've released some of the tracks already in my last 3 sets, I listened to this one several times and it convinced me so here we go 🎶

Langsam schiebe ich den Strohhut aus dem Gesicht und blinzele der lachenden Sonne entgegen. Am Baum sitzend sinniere ich über die einfachen Dinge. Der kurze Mittagsschlaf hat meine Sinne belebt. Das Plätschern des nahen Flusses erklingt kristallklar und die spärlichen Wolken verfolge ich aufmerksam. Hinter jeden der weißen Riesen entdecke ich eine andere Phantasie. Dort wird eine Katze von einem Piraten gestreichelt und da erbeutet ein Eichhörnchen ein Eis als Nachtisch. Ich verliere mich in den friedlichen Parallelwelten und lässt mich nochmal fallen. Mehr liegend als sitzend schließt ich die Augen und male mit meiner Vorstellungskraft farbenfrohe Kulissen für den Piraten, die Katze und das Eichhörnchen. Meine erfundenen Abenteuer zaubern mir ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. 

Entflieht mit Frida Darko für einen Moment der Realität und genießt einen Moment nur für euch. Atmet tief ein und entfaltet eure Kreativität. Mit ihrem treibenden Downtempo animiert und inspiriert sie. Mit jedem Track, den sie spielt, begleitet sie dich ein kleines Stück auf deinem Weg.

✍️ Das alte Jahr geht zu Ende und das neue klopft an die Tür. Für den letzten Tag des Jahres kommt man vorzugsweise mit seinen Liebsten zusammen. Dann wird gemeinsam gefeiert, getanzt und gelacht. Gutes Essen trifft auf gute Laune. Eventuell wird der eine oder andere Schaumwein geöffnet, eine Sportzigarette geraucht oder andere Leckereien vernascht. 
Der letzte Tag des Jahres ist ein ganz besonderer. Lasst uns jeder für sich und alle gemeinsam das vergangene Jahr reflektieren und frohsinnig in 2023 starten. 

🎵 Zum Jahreswechsel hat uns Pay Kusten sanft-säuselnde musikalische Unterhaltung mitgebracht. Ein Podcast der mit dem Flow fließt und ganz unbemerkt die Zeit verstreichen lässt. Heyoka: 

In Native American culture, the Heyoka is, in simple terms, the clown of the tribe. But he is much more than what most people imagine a clown to be. 

Everything he does in his play is aimed at making people laugh, so that they feel themselves and let go of entrenched attitudes and concepts. He turns the rituals upside down or exaggerates them excessively. He does everything to expose the complacency and prejudices of his fellow human beings in order to heal and encourage with laughter.

He can step into the world of others, into their stubbornness and madness. He mimes them lovingly and makes even the suffering person laugh about his own suffering. He brings laughter and the love of life and strengthens the natural being and the connection in the tribe to the divine. He helps to banish aberrant and unconnected attitudes and is seen as a transformer, ally and mediator between the worlds.

Some years ago someone told me, that the way I behave reminds him of this figure and on the one hand I can deeply identify myself with the characteristics of the Heyoka and on the other hand I’m trying my best to act more in this way.
