Layla Rehana & Sebastian Mullaert - Lullaby For The Wandering Tides

Pick a Piper is a Toronto-based electronica duo consisting of longtime Caribou touring drummer Brad Weber and vocalist/songwriter Sophia Alexandra. Their music pairs catchy, ethereal vocals with warm synths, upbeat percussion, and a distinctive sense of sound design that feels both grounded and vulnerable.

Their new song “Look Around” fuses driving UK Garage rhythms, warm synths, and an uplifting coda with heartfelt vocals in English and Portuguese. The track peers into the desire for building on shared dreams and pushes for hope and courage to take action, even when fraught with despair. It speaks directly to the dandelion’s symbolism of resilience, hope, and wishes, and the need to overcome adversity and disperse the seeds of change.

The duo’s live show is an intoxicating blend of vibrant physicality and immersive lights and visuals, creating an experience that is both danceable and hypnotic. Pulsing with momentum, vocally driven and haunting, it radiates a charisma that unites the band and audience in cathartic release.

Pick a Piper has toured across Europe, the US, Canada, Guatemala, and Colombia, and has shared the bill with acts such as Bonobo, Gold Panda, Blue Hawaii, Do Make Say Think, Ghetto Kumbe, Rich Aucoin, Braids, and Factory Floor.

Seekers is a dub-soaked, trance-tinged exploration of texture, rhythm, and atmosphere. Across three original tracks and a deep dub reinterpretation by Mozes, the record drifts between ambient dance, psychedelic shimmer, and experimental sound collage.

Born from the chaos of a sleepless coastal city, Seekers captures the fractured poetry of urban drift — soft and hazy one moment, tangled and dense the next. Built from field recordings, found tones, and analogue synth fragments, it feels like a collection of dream fragments from the in-between: half memory, half mirage.

Closing the release, Mozes reimagines one of the EP’s key pieces through a dub-rooted lens — a meditative descent into echo and weight, where bass becomes landscape and delay turns to dialogue.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gats is an electronic music producer and performer from Berlin, Germany, known for a unique style that blends elements of psychedelic rock, dub, and Balearic sounds to create music that is both relaxing and danceable. Gats has released several albums and EPs on labels like Invisible Inc., Voodoohop, Chill Mountain Records, both as a solo artist and as part of various musical projects, including Die Grillen, Gates, Changa Boys, ghostandthesong, Voltags, and many more.

The holidays are approaching, but we’re not slowing down just yet. There’s still plenty of fuel left before the year wraps up and TR217 keeps the momentum going with Rem’s Martinez.

Hailing from the southwest of France, Rem’s Martinez brings a groove-driven Indie Dance sound shaped by indie pop, electroclash, and 80s new wave. His sets move between dark disco, Italo, and techno, using vocals and synths to keep the dancefloor engaged.

TR217 - Rem's Martinez

Susu a.k.a David Oren is a Tel Aviv based DJ and producer, deeply rooted in the city’s vibrant nightlife scene for over two decades. Known for his behind-the-scenes influence, David was one of the driving forces behind some of Tel Aviv’s most iconic venues — including the legendary Breakfast Club, The Cat and the Dog, Dada, and Sexi Fish.

After years of shaping the city’s nightlife from the business side, David has stepped into the creative forefront. Over the past two years, he has been producing and performing his own music — bringing his deep connection to the dance floor into sound. This release on Cologne’s Feines Tier label marks his debut as a solo artist, blending experience, energy, and emotion into a fresh new chapter.
