Bit of a mixed bag of styles and genres…
consistently amateur and homemade though… and just for the fun of it!

Half the songs here are just me noodling away on my own… (using garageband on my ipad, headphones, and a couple of cheap old guitars).

…the other half are recorded during very occasional jam sessions with some lovely talented old friends, who bring my song ideas to life, spontaneously, usually one-take, having never heard them before.

I grew up in the Florida Keys where both of my parents worked as musicians in the entertainment business.  My grandmother taught me to play the piano at an early age.  I ended up pursuing a career in mathematical research and teaching, but in my free time I enjoy composing music mainly for piano.

Kurt's been playing around the Melbourne music scene since the 90s, only recently has he started writing his own material.
Kurt also performs with Crumbe and Fawkner Walking Society, and has performed with 2 Inch Tape, Cate Taylor and Tim Woodz and the Dirty Shoes.
All of these demos have been recorded on the Boss BR-80.

Have just updated my recording gear so if anyone wants to collaborate I'm able to now.
