I was born one of these music gifted kids. “Singing before talking, making rhythm before walking” kinda stuff. You know.

When I was nine I learned the “4 chords” on the family’s second hand Höfner copper stringed jazz guitar and the necessary moves I learned from watching their black and white television set.

And I took it the whole way. From garage to the inner capital city club circle topping in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

My music is Lager Rock.

Lager Rock can be viewed as a kinda Rock n Roll toolbox which style’s was strangely sandwiched in between the Rock n Roll mainstreams of its day.
Lager Rock weld three Rock n Roll mainstreams together: Punk Rock, New Wave and classic electric Guitar Blues Rock.
It emerged in London in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s and spread like a bushfire all over Europe.
Pure condensed energy my friends.

I have and I will all ways play Lager Rock!
Through out my life, besides playing Lager Rock, I’ve been doing a ton of odd jobs from business consulting to flying airplanes. But I have never ever being anything close to selling my guitar and leaving Lager Rock and in that way too Rock n Roll.

But when my life moved into its fifty’s my not so healthy lifestyle caught up with me and in the last six years it seems like Grim Reaper now and then raised his tent in my back garden. You know just to stay close in case.

As I was spending my time mostly negotiating with Mr. Reaper a strange thought came to my mind. 
I have never issued any of my music. 
Oh yes I’ve made demo’s en mas but never ever a single, EP or album. 
Then and there I took a swift decision. Now it’s time!!!!

And here I am ladies and gentlemen. In my early sixties recording and issuing - senior - Lager Rock and of course also with a classic DIY invented title: DIY Senior Lager Rock Streamer.

So what’s the big chromed shining truth here?
1. I’m still alive and well and…
2. Rock n Roll WILL NEVER DIE.

Born in 1953 Piet started making music (his first love) from his childhood up. When he was 15, he wrote his first songs and he went on writing better and better, resulting in recording a single in 1977 at EMI. Meanwhile he was a singer/guitar player in several cover-bands but in 1987 he was tired of making music and it was time to do his second love; working on a farm.
For twenty years he spent his time with driving tractors, milking cows and all the other hard work as a hand.
But blood is thicker than water and like many other musicians at that age, he got a mind to make music again.
Earned enough money for living for the rest of his life, he made himself familiar with digital recording with endless possibilities, wrote new songs and in 2012 he had enough stuff to release his album "Footprints In The Sand", which was only released regional.
And he went on and on, writing new songs and recording and in 2015 he finished his second album "The Fair Story".
It's the fair story about power, religion, indoctrination, oppression, exploitation, the human race, overpopulation, people, death and believe in god.
In 2016 he worked on a remix of his album "Footprints In The Sand", as he was unhappy with the sound of the 2012 version and brought it to the world in the Fall of 2016. This album is about his life, starting on how he returned to music after a twenty years intermission. Then it's about some events in his life losing some beloved friends but also about nature and how he's thinking about life and death. Futher on, on this 16 track album, it sounds like a parting, but he hopes it's not!

In 2016 Piet was contacted by a certain Omar Jallow, a young boy from Gambia, who asked for attention for his poor situation.
Although nothing appeared to be that this person really existed and he was probably a deceiver, who wanted to take advantage of the misery of others and therefore Piet broke off the contact after some time, his story was so realistic that it called Piet's attention to the misery in which many people find themselves in the third world countries.
In recent years, Western countries in Europe, North America and Australia have been confronted with large numbers of migrants who, for various reasons, often risked their lives out of pure despair to get out of their native country, plagued by war and natural disasters, which often have a direct or indirect link to climate change in large parts of the world, as a result of global warming, most caused by the economies and ways of life in Western countries.
In 2019 Piet's 3rd album 'OMAR' has been released, which is completely dedicated to these issues.
The lyrics of the smooth acoustic folksongs on this album are intended to make the listeners aware of things that have to do with this, such as the difficult integration of strangers due to cultural differences, the influence of the internet, the fortune seekers, the shocking increase of the world population with about  200,000 people a day and the role played by the big players on the world stage in all of this.

Never forgotten all those songs, written in his first period of making music, in 2020 Piet comes with his 21 tracks fourth album 'Seeking For Lost Time'; New recordings of long-ago written songs, just a re-encounter with the past for him, when he was in his twenties.
The lyrics are about the things that occupied him then, some of them from real life, others fantasy.
Many of these songs are meant to be rather commercial, in order to obtain a record deal at that time and they have the atmosphere and approach of the 70's and recorded and arranged as they were intended back then. However, these songs have never been released before and the listeners can experience them as completely new!

For diversity and consistency, I am not hesitant in saying my Soundcloud pages house the most inventive creations on here. There are others making fabulous tunes, but no one is more prolific while maintaining a high standard of pole to pole invention, and that applies to the lyrics too. I won't escape obscurity and oblivion, but that proves nothing, the internet is way, way, WAY overcrowded with unsigned music, way too much mediocre stuff, which obscure anything exceptional out there; the wood hidden away behind lots and lots and LOTS of trees, and no one has the time to look for needles in haystacks, to find a diamond in the rough, it's just way too big a task, not humanely possible!

INVENTIVE, AUTHENTIC, DIVERSE MUSIC, INVENTIVE, AUTHENTIC, IMAGINATIVE LYRICS, but those are the last things the vast majority of listeners are looking for these days!

Listening to just one of my tunes tells you nothing about my creative approach, listening to ten of my tunes will still tell you very little, listen to a hundred of my tunes and the penny will start to drop, but it's only after hearing 500+ of my creations and collaborations that your eyes will widen in amazement! 
However, if you don't have unlimited eclectic taste none of that applies, and the reality is, who, in this world, is going to listen to every tune I've created, no one--if even one tune is heard from beginning to end it's a minor miracle, because sadly, there is a belief that unsigned means inferior, but I've heard enough tunes by the rest of you guys to know that's a myth, that's bullshit, we create some of the most inventive, authentic, imaginative tunes out there!
Give me unsigned, independent and underground music over signed, safe, predictable, recipe book, music any day of the week!

Noel is a writer of songs and stories rather than a musical performer. His songs have been described as reflective as they are motivated by the struggles, celebrations and tensions of everyday life.
