Sometimes good music can actually be for free, like in the case with our one-off's. Next up as a contributor is Dublin-based DJ M4A4 who graces us with a lo-fi number called "Sciences", made together with Philip Box.

M4A4 has only been producing for about a year but you can tell right away from listening to his previous tracks that we're looking at pure producing talent here. This is confirmed yet again with "Sciences" where lush pads, raw percussions and one of the illest basslines we heard for a while combines to create an irresistable under water-lo-fi groover. We are proud to announce the arrival of @Apparel-Wax LP001, our first LP which opens a new catalogue dedicated to albums. 
We began to search the tracks for this Lp with the same guideline ever: the love for the music not thinking about the charts. The amazing artists who are taking part in the collective knew since day 1 that they had to put on a mask if they wanted to partake in this adventure; knowing how important is to “appear” nowadays we wanted to prove that we could make great music without the help of the big names. So far so good. 
For this double vinyl LP we picked amongst the different souls that House Music has got, from Disco to Lo-Fi, always focusing on our “Jazzy” watermark and giving the opportunity to the artists to prove their interpretative skills on this theme once again. A little reminder that next February 2019, month of the release, Apparel Music will be blowing 9 candles: no better time to celebrate with a new, fresh and energetic record. Let’s talk about the tracks that compose our 1st LP. Listening to this record is like walking around a house where the walls are made of the same concrete but every room has a different atmosphere that you can absorb in each distinct vibration. 
A1 draws inspiration from the foundations of Disco Music and it’s the best way to kick it off in style, followed by A2 which is a groovy cinematic variation on the motif. B1 is inspired by UK’s broken-beats from the early 00’s, wisely blended with deep keys and spacey synths while B2 closes the 1st vinyl in the best possible Apparel-ish way with a track that puts together all the elements that make the label recognisable: solid rhythmics, jazzy vibes & groovy vocals. 
The second vinyl begins with C1 and brings us back to the roots with a tune that tastes like a new version of a classic house sensation with a neat kick drum dialoguing with a crispy clap, alongside alluring vocal samples. Moving on to C2 we find another room, another atmosphere which is pure deep. Flip the vinyl and you’ll see pictures on the walls from one of our favorite movies from the eighties: if you listen carefully, D1 will evocate you familiar words... “Wax on, Wax off...” With D2 we step into the Lo-Fi, a sound that takes back to the present the warmth of the past in a new classy-chic fashion. 
Help us to protect quality music and spread your love for it not just for the ones who make it, because music’s purpose isn’t to glorify the singles but to unite people!

Sweden’s favourite house label Local Talk return with a new LP compiled by one of the imprints most beloved artists Crackazat, and he has been given special permission remix and rework a selection of label's back catalogue for their edit's series.

Previous artists who have compiled a reworks album for the series include HNNY, Jacques Renault plus Kyodai, and this is perhaps one of the best yet.

Ben Jacobs better known to music fans as Crackazat, is a young talent originally from Bristol in the UK. Early in his career he was the official warm up act for Floating Points and he shares a similar sound fusing upbeat jazzy chords with house shuffling percussion.

Local Talk have become synonymous with breaking new talent such as HNNY that later goes onto achieve big things, and Crackazat is one such artist who has used the label as a spring board to kick start an accomplished career.

Crackazat has now featured tracks and remixes on other labels including Josh Wink's Ovum, Joey Negro's Z Records and Derrick Carter’s Classic. Early in his career he also released on the infamous Future Boogie, and a number of his Local Talk tracks have been licenced to prestigious compilations compiled by brands like Defected.

Featuring everyone from Terrence Parker to Soulphiction, the Local Talk back catalogue has original music from many of house music’s greatest artists who sit alongside fresh talent such as Jaxx Madicine and Marcel Lune.

Choosing tracks that he either loves of feels he can improve with a bit of careful editing, Crackazat has spent time hand picking a selection of tracks that showcase the Local Talk back catalogue in all its dazzling glory.

For those already familiar with some of the original versions on this release, it’s a fantastic chance to rediscover a classic in a revised format, and for those new to the label prepare to hear some of the best house music out there with strong influences from other genres such as jazz, funk and soul.

Piff Records pulls a petal from it’s 004 with Subjoi, recruiting @adam0emil - who featured on the track Paradise back in September - and @slimhustlaxxx who go twos on the new EP, “Travellers”.

Emil’s side features A1’s “Genuine”, driven by auto-tuned contemporary style vocals that ice all over the melancholy synth work, giving way to “Hovedspring” which presents itself as liquid drum and bass at house tempo - intricate drum programming and trance palet of ambient sounds, well padded throughout.

Slim Hustla takes over the B side, complimenting the ethereal sounds of Emil, first with “Newfound Love” - no less than a synth work out - dripping with arpeggiated notes that open up to their fullest, bouncing between stabs and waves of atmosphere electronics. “We Forget that the Water Cycle and the Life Cycle Are One” takes the beat format of electro, mobilized by acoustic drum sounds, setting the listener up for a full-blown acid hardcore breakbeat closer on “Midnight in Copenhagen”.
