From tribal house to UK dubstep, from psychedelic cumbia to dark disco, from slow trance to indie dance, everything that purrs and reflects its scales, which squeaks and waves at the same time: reptilian music.

About the VA "GECKO BLASTER"
This VA puts the spotlight on 8 countries, represented by twenty artists from radically different scenes, from the parisian organic underground to the dubstep soundsystem scene of Brooklyn, to the downtempo and schnekno of Berlin and Frankfurt, swiss lo-fi, japanese experimental, or slow house drawn from brazilian forests, not to mention the participation of locals from the french southwest who offer organic jungle, dark electro or tribal slow trance... A musical diversity which has a common denominator love for psychedelia, distortion, depth of bass and sharp rhythms like the claws of an arboreal monitor lizard.

WELAA (The dawn ) is the time of struggle to find daily sustenance, but for Sinaubi it is time to show his ability as a musician by combining traditional music with contemporary music on different genres of modern music from his origin music; He can mix any kind of music without losing the taste of his original music.

SinaUbi Zawose born in the largest musical dynasty of The Zawose family. the largest East Africa Gogo Tribe, as Msafiri Lacas Zawose born 1st February 1995.

SinaUbi Zawose create the bridge connecting past and present generations, delivering a new and unique blend of traditional and contemporary Gogo music and dance, with powerful
messages sung in Swahili and Gogo dialects.

"Zawose
The Zawose family, or clan, is the collective progeny and relations of the internationally renowned Wagogo musician, Hukwe Zawose. Recognized for his talent by Tanzania's first president, Julius Nyerere, while on a trip around his newly independent nation, Zawose was brought from Dodoma to Dar es Salaam to play his traditional music. After several albums and many years later, Zawose caught the eye of Peter Gabriel, who produced his final three albums on the Real World Records label. It's fair to say that Hukwe Zawose introduced Wagogo music, certainly the most unique music in Tanzania, to the world.

When Hukwe passed away in 2003 he left not only an impressive body of work and an important musical legacy, but a family of around twenty children who carry on his work. He taught his children everything about their traditional music; how to sing in perfect harmony, play their songs, and also make all of the instruments that comprise the Wagogo musical repertoire..."

Ecologia (Ecology): One could say it has a diverse narrative regarding to culture, technical practices, communication, uprising and contradictions. From organic to sampling, digital to analog, from wildfire to social ecology.

"Ecocide" as a project of social organisation is completely related with the capitalist concept of "Necropolitics". Both concepts aim in everything the possibility of commerce and exploitation.

Ibus come from jungles, some of them born from bushes, others from sand, concrete or water. The newborns are currently being brought to life in this sabotaged and poisoned environment, however , Ibus are organised with plenty of reasons for an uprising.

Searching in it’s first act of transition, “Ecologia" presents the end of this stage of nature’s doom and prepare us for the spring!

The EP "Ibu Selva - Ecologia" talks about transition, as a will to change, to instigate profound feelings, commotion and self knowledge.
