What a beautiful night this was. Two of my friends even got engaged while I was playing, I put the volume down, told the crowd what happened and they cheered loudly. Quite a moment.

Thank you for being open to my creative randomness, yes- this set has all sorts of sounds inside it.

Most of these tracks & edits were created two days before the show, I made it in a sudden push of inspiration.

Welcome to the eight episode of Dyplytt.

The eight episode is called "Into The Woods" and the title is inspired by the ancient and mythological stories around going into the woods to become mature and basically a grown man (or woman!) for your tribe. As the winter season is closing up on us I can always relate to this feeling about going inwards in to yourself and reflect in order to become more human for whats to come. This way makes it very similar to the old stories, and that is also something I personally have felt as an artist after starting this mix-series. It has given me a bigger foundation to rely on in this tough industry of art and craftmanship.

In the mix I tried to keep it very soft and cozy, but still having a dynamic journey through different genres. I hope and think this one hour of music can be a perfect fit for you who is going into winter hibernation, with a warm blanket, a warm cup of something and a proper fire in your fireplace.

The artwork is of course made by my dearest darling @allisgroove

Remember to sit back and tune your ears for a nice deep listening-experience. Let us save ourself and the earth with some proper listening.

Beginning on this auspicious day of super moons, solar eclipses, equinoxes and general cosmic renewal, we present the first in a series of 24 mixes that will take you around the world. Lydia is a musician who really likes listening to music! Apart from that she sings and performs in different formations: as a long-time band member of Jacques Palminger & 440 Hertz, as main vocalist for the five headed band collective Erich Weinert Studioband and as a singer and keyboardist for Paul & The Casiotones. You might know her voice from the song Finsterwalde (Songs For Joy) or some other production of befriended musicians like F.S.Blumm or Mimsy.
