Beginning in February 2013, I've always been about showcasing people the newest music from genres that they may not listen to. The 88/88 Series which has had over 1000 plays over 9 tapes shows that people are giving this music a chance. I've never been about making money or playing to 1000's of people, although I'm not going to say it wouldn't be nice. When you live in a city that surrounds itself in Popular Chart Music or Urban Sounds, this is where I stand out, daring to showcase something else to the people. 

Dutch Music has always been a passion of mine and this is why I decided to do this because i want people to share the same passion, and the feedback I have received over the last few months has been great. I am learning things as I go along, opening my eyes to different genres at the same time. So this is me and my journey, jump in with me.

Well what can I say, my love for real house music started back in 1996 when i bought my first pair of decks out the local paper. 120 quid with mixer I remember collecting them with my good friend Tom Lingham. We had not a clue what we was doing but we had a small collection of sick Chicago house and Detroit Techno records between us and that was start. With inspiration from the likes of Daft Punk,Laurent Garnier,Terry Francis and radio 1s essential mix on Friday night we became teenage bedroom djs. We did this from the heart and nothing else mattered tbh. So before you know it we was in the back room Atomic Jam at the Que Club Birmingham, DIY were doing there thing ￼and we fell in love with that deep underground Nottingham/East Midlands sound, So we went to Slam night club to see Digs&Woosh a few weeks later and we handed a mix tape to Andy Jones (love Revolution) Jonha was a bit sceptical at first but after a listen he seen something in these young kids and with his reassurance from trickster he
gave us a chance. So was born the first deep house club night in Wolverhampton Rico’s. The first night we had 15 people through the door lol. But only a matter of weeks we had queues around the block and full 300 capacity! We was kids I was 18 and we did it just for love and nothing else. Charles Webster,Simon DK, Emma and Digs&Woosh from the legendary DIY sound system came down who are our hero’s at the time. Glasgow underground’s Kevin McKay Elliott Eastwick and Miles Holloway ￼from Paper Recordings, Ben Davis,Def E, Kenny Hawkes, John Kelly, a man called Adam. We teamed up occasionally with the local Source ￼ outfit from Walsall, also Smokescreen sound system Rob and Steve, Inland Knights  Laurence and Andy also did the business. So life gets in the way but that was then. And this is now! ✌🏼

A long time ago, after returning from a trip to Ibiza the decision was made to embark on music production. Getting championed by Greg Wilson leading to the first release on the Chopshop label, things snowballed with tracks released on Midnight Riot, Hot Digits, Disco Dat, Spa in Disco, Sound Exhibitions, Get Down Edits, Masterworks, Hot Groovers & most recently Lisztomania with support from Craig Charles, Dimitri From Paris & Brandon Block. Dave is also known for his productions with Rob Bairstow as Greyskooledits.
