Mark Dwyer demonstrates the pipe organ at Holy Cross Cathedral in Boston. The organ at Holy Cross Cathedral in Boston is the largest extant example of the artistry of that Boston firm. When it was completed in 1875, Opus 801 was the largest yet built pipe organ in America. The organ has 5292 pipes and boasts 39 ranks of mixtures, a cornet on every division, and 13 ranks of reed pipes, including three reed stops which were manufactured in Paris, by Henri Zimmerman.
