The monthly "Clen's List" playlists come from the great music that I stumble across on Soundcloud each month and want to share with others. Of course this wouldn't be possible without the work of all the producers, reposters, promoters, and suggestions from others, so thanks and big up to everyone out there sharing and producing these sounds.

Another goal of these lists is to promote the artists producing the tunes. There are some really incredible less known productions that float around and just don't wind up in the "spotlight". By including these productions in the lists, hopefully these great works get their time in the spotlight.

P.S. Overtime the lists lose tracks that were originally included. I do not know if this is due to artists removing their tracks from Soundcloud (or the tracks get bought by a record company and then removed), or if there is another reason. Pixel is a Shropshire, England based Drum & bass artist who doesn't like to be pigeon-holed to just one sub-genre. Initially inspired by Roni Size and Reprazent’s ‘Brown Paper Bag’ in 1997, Pixel was immediately hooked.

He began writing music late 2000 but only in recent months has he started to shine.. “I found it hard to fit in or make friends when i was younger, but drum & bass welcomed me with open arms..”

For pixel, his music is purely an expression but for other people to enjoy it as well is a feeling like no other.
