Six hours recorded at one of my favourite clubs in the world, between the hours of 6am and 12pm. 
I absolutely loved doing this - taking the party deeper and deeper into after hours, and bringing everyone back to consciousness again in the second half.

This is the text element of an installation created last year for The Cad Factory's On Common Ground. The intention was to research matters related to the Narrandera Common and surrounding area and make a text specific to that place and its stories. A kind of psychogeographical map making exercise in  interconnectedness. Initially I thought it would be a series of lists of words, but I found I was unable to (or did not want to) extract my emotive reaction from what I encountered in the research and the project turned into something else. When I had finished writing I discovered I had a very strong compulsion to speak the words aloud at the installation site. It seemed to me that the work would be incomplete unless this happened. After responding to the land, looking for a language of land, I felt there needed to be a cyclic resolution, and that meant I had to return the words to their source location. I knew this would mean a pouring out of sound, taking the text out of my head, out of its existence as silent ink marks on paper, and into the space as vibrations and echoes.

Sidechains welcomes its newest release from @woesum, a Swedish producer known for his work with Yung Lean and Gravity Boys, with accompanying remixes from Swedish, New York-living @Acea, and American, London-living @theh00n. These are not your traditional beatmakers: they take what is expected straight up into the ether. Woesum has a track on the way for A$AP Ferg and Yung Lean, and produced tracks including “God Only Knows” and “Sippin’” on the Deluxe Edition of Yung Lean’s most recent album, “Warlord”, alongside Acea. The pair have also produced together for Thaiboy Digital, on tracks including “2seats”. Hoon is a new project, ripe to flourish with them. Here, their beats are laid bare, without vocals, and create their own world amongst the clouds.

keithysdunimselfamischief's last hurrah, a poorly constructed cover of Duran Duran's "Planet Earth". 
It didn't start out that way but after listening to it I could just hear the words "there's no sign of life" in the background.
I guess the name gvies away something about it's age as I have held onto this for a while, hoping to fix it up in all the places it needs it but as Keithysdunimselfamischief is "disbanding" so to speak it seemed like a good time to release it, just in time for next Christmas.
It has previously been released (sans vox) as part 2 of "Shire Promotional Grotesques"
thank you to Nettles who gave me very honest and learned advice when I asked for it, which I stupidly ignored and forgot. 
I wish I had done what you said to the vocals, whatever it was, I probably didn't understand at the time anyway.

Just Ghosts

Once upon as time in Newtown there was a 3 piece called the Vultures. They lived in Petersham when you could get a 4 bedroom house for $350 per week. One bedroom was a rehearsal room where they tuned down to D flat and hammered out shambolic, minimal, unrefined songies to play at gigs with Whopping Big Naughty, The Momobench Seat Band, Kybershev, Triangle, MzAnnthropik, Stockholm Syndrome and other inner westies The Lansdowne, The Sando, The Vic on the Park, The Excelsior, The Annadale etc. High light was supporting McCluskey and beong reviewed in Kerrang mag. Yeeew! This demo EP was recorded at Zen Studios in St Peters. It is unmixed, there was no click track (obviously!), it is raw AF, and it's the only recording remaining of the original line up.
