Haya - Aaja Radio Channel 2 - 26 09 22

The installation brings a fragment of the forest to the waterways of the city. A metal tissue, on a buoyant platform, supported by light and sound. This tissue is the installation’s structure, cultivating organisms endemic to the Brandenburg region – but is only complemented when inhabited by people. This installation must be seen as a living thing that needs to be co-created and cared for, where visitors play a fundamental role in keeping the space alive and active.

gabb's musical roots are anchored in nostalgia for early 2000s reggaeton, which she followed while growing up in Caracas. Now based in Bremen, gabb fuses experimental, percussive, bass-heavy electro beats with Latinx-infused club music. A pitch of breaks with a slight preference for sassy, powerful voices. Get ready for a hip-break. gabb made her debut at the Takseer Party in spedi and has also been active performing live on stage at schwankhalle among others.
