Canberra based blues troubadours PJ Michael & The Banditas have emerged from the studio with their debut EP “All Night Long” in tow and a national tour to boot. A compilation of four songs, perfected over years of performing, balanced, bolstered and brought to life by the newly arranged five piece line up, All Night Long, is a sweeping journey of toe-tapping escapism and heartbreak.
Recorded in Canberra’s boutique Studio 68 with producer Matt Barnes, All Night Long, is a welcome and highly anticipated offering filled with lush production, weeping violin, vibrant harmonies, the warmth of a resonator guitar and a tale to be told. In the vein of artists from Justin Townes Earle and John Hurt to Nick Cave and Laura Marling, All Night Long, stands strong in a genre rich with simple beauty.
Hitting the road for their first national tour, PJ Michael & The Banditas, will sweep the East Coast from Sydney to Adelaide with a live show that has seen the band previously share stages with Steve Smyth, The Snowdroppers, Liam Wright and The Timbers, as well as having played major festivals Majors Creek and Enlighten.
