There’s something in our being
Something that wants to love
Desire without reality
The very expression of
An attribute that’s all divine
A virtue shown in man
Then God infused Himself as love
According to His plan

When love is perfected in us
We are perfected in love
We love because He first loved us
For we become the love

We’re born to be His species	
	Born to be God’s kind
	Since God is love, we should be love
	For love is God’s design 
It's not the tender feeling
Nor what love compels
It’s not just merely that we love
But we are love itself

We were once in darkness and even darkness itself. But praise the Lord that we are now in the light and even light itself!

 For you were once darkness

but are now light,
light in the Lord
walk as children of light.

goodness and righteousness and truth.
