1. The Bible is a romance
In the most holy sense:
God and His chosen people
In love it so presents.
This Universal Couple
Throughout it is displayed;
God in Christ is the Bridegroom,
His saints, the Bride, portrayed.
2. Through shadows, types and figures,
God’s deepest thought is known;
As typified by Adam,
The Husband, Christ, is shown.
A rib brought forth from Adam
Reveals the source of life
By which God built a woman:
Eve, as the church, His wife.
3. To be His people’s Husband,

Jubilee!!

One thing I have asked from Jehovah;
That do I seek:
To dwell in the house of Jehovah
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of Jehovah,
And to inquire in His temple.

Psalm 27:4 (One Thing I Have Asked From Jehovah)

This hymn was composed during my second term in the training (Malabon) where almost everything's in chaos. My heart was full of anxieties, doubts and fears. Inspite of this, the Lord is still faithful to carry me through.  At first, I don't understand His ways. But later, the Lord showed me Himself. Job 42:5 says, I had heard of You by the hearing of the ear,  But now my eye has seen You.

He is sovereign over all things. Just let everything go, and let the Lord do. He is continually perfecting us, training us wherever we may go. It doesn’t matter where we’d be. His presence is simply enough, and it’s everything to us.
