Cape Town-based artist Nemeni — known to many as DJ Nemeton — is a dynamic sonic storyteller with a deep love for rolling beats, infectious desert melodies, and gritty, driving basslines.

Building a loyal following under his DJ moniker, Nemeton made his mark through electrifying sets at festivals, clubs and iconic local venues. His groovy, high-energy performances blend desert techno, indie dance, and progressive house into an uplifting, boundary-breaking experience.

Now stepping into the world of production as Nemeni, he brings the same fearless spirit to his original work — layering shifting energies, deep moods, and genre-bending elements into music that moves both body and mind. Freshly signed to Tibetania Oriental Records, Cafe De Anatolia, Camel VIP and Planet Ibiza Collective, with a Label Spotlight feature and release via Tanzgemeinschaft, Nemeni’s sound is a celebration of sonic exploration: positive, hypnotic, and always evolving.

Drawing on his roots in organic downtempo and desert techno, Nemeni is crafting a new chapter of groovy, electro-infused releases that honor his journey as a DJ while carving a distinct identity as a producer. With upcoming original tracks and remixes under the Nemeni name, he invites listeners on a journey through light and shadow — where gritty baselines meet lush melodies, and the dancefloor becomes a place of raw connection.

Claus Pieper is a renowned musician known for his exceptional musicality and unique style. 
In the 90s, he discovered his passion for electronic music, which deeply fascinated him. In 1993, Claus Pieper founded the band GENLOG and also established the influential techno and house magazine RAVELINE. Throughout his career, he has performed at major festivals 
and has been involved in various side projects, releasing seven albums and over 80 singles. 
Claus Pieper has also worked as a composer and remixer, including creating the soundtrack for the German film "ANGEL EXPRESS." In 2006, he formed the band EIGENART with 
Werner Balzuweit, releasing several successful albums. Claus Pieper continues to produce and release tracks on various record labels, and in November 2023, he launched his own label, urbanic music.
