Aside from his immaculate credentials as a DJ, he is part of the monthly radio show „Past Forward“ on Cashmere Radio, manages the R.i.O. label and produces music as one third of the „Dolphins“ project. For tonight's show I curated two full hours of Spanish gems – not just from Spain, but also from Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Cuba and the Catalan region. We're kinda making our way through the decades, starting with Alicia Maguiña in 1962 and moving towards the 90s. While the first hour is rather dedicated to slow and mid-tempo vibes, I'm increasing the energy in the second half. Shout-outs to DJ Spoki, Mr. Fantasy, Trujillo, Nemo & Castro for inspiration!

DJ Patrick is an Oakland, California-based DJ and selector. He is a Resident DJ at Bar Part Time in San Francisco, he hosts Pat’s Cafe – a monthly’ish morning show on Lower Grand Radio – and he’s also a Music Programmer at Bar Shiru, the Bay Area’s first Hi-Fi Listening Bar.

From 2013 to 2018, he co-founded and organized BROUHAHA, a party series that hosted the Pender Street Steppers, DJ Fettburger, Todd Edwards, Folamour, and Awesome Tapes From Africa to name a few.

When he's not playing gigs around the Bay Area, DJ Patrick runs Bop 40, a YouTube channel dedicated to uploading rare and unheard downtempo, street soul, disco/boogie, house, and other similar sounds.
