What a year! 

We met so many great artists, made a bunch of new friends and had one heck of a summer. 
Watching this community grow bigger made us want to create an appropriate picture of the things that already sprung from it and also of things to come. 

Trying to condense all the creativity that came to life during the past few months, we put together something that reflects our journey and features as many of the directions we're headed in as possible.

As it enters its 20th year of existence Belgian label Eskimo Recordings shows no sign of slowing down or scaling back its ambition. To kickstart this auspicious year the label returns with the ‘The White Collection’, the 8th release in its acclaimed ‘Co- lour Series’ and a globetrotting compilation featuring 14 tracks of left eld electronic music drawn from 9 different countries, covering everything from cosmic disco to industrial sounding techno via Middle Eastern inspired house music and psychedelic
electronic dub.
Featuring label veterans such as NTEIBINT, recent signings like Cavego, Paresse and Antenna and several acts making their debut including Gent-based 4 piece band Omar Dahl, up & coming Australian producer The Oddness and Reykjavik’s Tonaru- nar, ‘The White Collection’ is a both a snapshot of an electronic music scene in con-
stant  ux and a label that refuses to rest on its laurels.
Since launching in the year 2000, Gent based Eskimo Recordings has become one of the leading electronic music labels in the world releasing genre de ning artist al- bums and compilations from Satin Jackets, Aeroplane, Lindstrøm, Prins Thomas, The Glimmers, Optimo, Psychemagik and many more. Since its launch in 2013 the ‘Colour Series’, now in its 8th edition, has continued to build upon the label’s reputation, not only for discovering and curating great music but for great design and continuing that tradition the cover for ‘The White Collection’ features a stunning photo, ‘Gravitation’,
by Amsterdam-based German photographer Katrin Korfmann.

Each year Sabo’s label Sol Selectas drops its highly anticipated Summer Sol compilation.

This year’s compilation features music from over twenty different countries and lyrics in many different languages including artists such as Namito, Derûn, Mark Alow and Sabo himself, plus many more.

Covering a range of tempos, the tracks vary in style from melodic deep house to meditative electronica, all with rich percussive textures and enchanting melodies…

The collection will hit the stores on the 19th of June which is the day of the summer solstice, as the EP’s concept is a celebration of world culture, as regardless of skin color, gender or social background… Sol Selectas motto, is that we are all equal under the light on the sun.

About the artist:
Pablo Mat is a musician, producer and live performer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His music predominates the sound of analog synthesizers with his Rhodes piano fusing with techno beats and jazz polyrhythmics drums, creating a hypnotic atmosphere for the club.
In his career he has shared the stage with artists from all over the world such as Acid Pauli, Guy Gerber, Dennis Horvat, Ernesto Romeo, Edu Imbernon, Jam Blomqvist, Youngr, Giorgia Angiuli, Johannes Brecht, Adam Port, &me, Troy Pierce and many moore.
