Matt's created a rolling set where he takes us deep into the House sound that he knows and loves.

Matt first started his journey into electronic sounds in the late 80's listening to pirate radio stations that were broadcasting through the airwaves over London. Over the years Matt kept listening to the newest underground stations that were pushing the genre boundaries. From this, he grew a hunger for electronic music and taught himself how to mix on decks when he was 15 years old in 1992. Move forward a few years and Matt found himself travelling to Ibiza to see what all the talk was about, to head to this hedonistic island witness what it was that made the masses flock to the island, what he found made him hooked instantly. Matt got his own pirate radio show on Life FM in the 2000s and got regular Dj sets all over London playing UK Garage, House and Jungle music. 
Matt holds three residencies in the north of England with underground music groups, Apparition, Shuvt. Resonance and Form U.K. 
Matt works with Sub/Merged DJ Agency and holds a monthly residents radio show on Bloop London Radio.

Episode 33: Laima Adelaide

For our fifth instalment we’ve invited HOD, a very talented Colombian DJ and producer. 

Hod is a concept that arises from the belief in the liberating power of sound that seeks to generate a contrast with marked percussive elements and deep harmonies that are consistent with the existing polarity and energy balance. This balance involves a complete relationship with natural elements and the use of these as tools of artistic expression from the symbolic and expressive force of each sound, each element, each frequency that gives the artist the ability to interpret a story that transcends the collective surrealist interpretation, the ritual. 

With releases on Secuencias temporales, Deflection music, Kvlto, Profundo Collective, Circular limited, Khoros he has made a name for himself over the past years.

Expect a very well-balanced mix, starting of with some tribal influensed techno slowly building it's way into a more hypnotic and trippy second half.

Their music, along with this mix, is characterized by the use of tribal timbres and hypnotic sounds. Drawing the listener into a primordial and ritualistic dimension.
