The eyes that deceive us and the sound that's beneath us.

The eyes and ears, two of the most acute senses, can be deceptive in their ways. The eyes can show us illusions and visual tricks, causing us to see things that are not there. On the other hand, sound can be manipulated to create an alternate reality or disguise its trustworthy source. The idea of the eyes and ears deceiving us speaks to the concept that perception is not always reality and that our minds can be tricked into believing false information. This can have positive and negative implications, from creating art to spreading misinformation. Ultimately, it highlights the importance of being critically aware of our sensory experiences and questioning what we see and hear to truly understand the world around us.

After an awakening experience listening to the last song of a bird genus native to Hawaii, Moho takes inspiration from endangered and extinct species to create deep and hypnotic sound journeys.

The Sub-low nature of our reality.

The reality we experience is a mere shadow of what lies beneath the surface. There is a hidden realm beyond our understanding and perception, a sub-low layer that holds secrets beyond our imagination.
This mysterious realm is thought to be composed of elusive forces, unseen particles, and other inexplicable phenomena that govern the fabric of the universe. It is said that this layer holds the key to unlocking the mysteries of existence but also conceals them from us, like a veil of darkness.
Many have ventured into the depths of this sub-low layer, seeking to unravel its secrets. They have returned with tales of strange and unexplainable experiences as if they had glimpsed into a parallel universe. Some have been driven mad by what they saw, while others have emerged with newfound insight and knowledge.
Despite our advances in science and technology, the sub-low layer remains a mystery, a frontier that defies explanation. Its enigmatic nature draws us in, tempting us with the promise of discovery and knowledge. But beware, for those who venture too deep into this unknown realm may never return, lost in the endless depths of the sub-low nature of reality.
As we look out into the world, we must remember that there is always more to reality than meets the eye and that the deeper we delve into its mysteries, the more we may find that we have only just scratched the surface.

Madah Sounds Deep Shadows Vol 1 Teaser

Founder of @secuencias_temporales label, @eafhmlive is a recent multidisciplinary project created by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages. This project has developed different facets, including a career as a performer and sound designer by experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences and soundscapes. It seeks the integration of interpersonal ideas oscillating between the variety of solid conceptions. This project also defines the artist's transformation that has developed under different aliases over many years.

Eafhm prepared a session revolving around downtempo techno and halftime drum & bass, playing with the tracks' original tempos and tonalities to create a distinct experience. He also connected a reverb pedal and used it delicately to create a thick watery character throughout the mix, without relying on running water or rain samples. Eafhm invites us to explore a thick mist at dawn, reminiscent of an etheral marine voyage.

Picture the ephemeral dance of the dawn mist over the unsteady ocean, refracting early sunlight into a thousand flickering shards, as you roam the nebulous space where day meets night, land meets sea, and consciousness meets dream.

Intensified by climate change, accelerated ocean evaporation disrupts our planet's natural hydrologic cycle, leading to extreme weather events, altering precipitation patterns, and causing increased ocean acidification that threatens marine ecosystems. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) states that for each degree of global warming, the atmosphere can hold 7% more water, amplifying storms and changing rainfall patterns ("Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis", IPCC, 2021). Meanwhile, a report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) warns that ocean surface acidity has increased by about 30% since the start of the Industrial Revolution, posing significant risks to marine life ("Ocean Acidification", NOAA, 2020).

Straight outta the fiord lands of southern Norway comes the new EP from Hydrous. We’ve come to a point where we no longer need to introduce the sound universe of Per Christian Berg to our ever-growing Navigare tribe, as he’s become a foundation for what we are and what we want to express. “Deep Techno”, “Psychedelia”, “Neo Trance” – call it whatever you like, what matters is that our brand of electronic dance music can assist your spirit to fly.

Simple, yet rich in detail; uniform, yet explorative; uplifting, yet with an unmistakable Nordic melancholia – Hydrous music continues to hypnotize and fascinate us at the Navigare HQ, and we’re happy to continuously receive the praise he deserves from around the globe from his past collaborations with us.

For this release you’ll notice a subtle gain in intensity in all three tracks. Although being far from peak time monsters, the aim here is undoubtedly to entrance a focused dancefloor, preferably while the sun is rising. Whether it’s the Eden-like atmosphere of “Cascade”, the introverted broken beats of “Infinite” or the meaty trance of “Pathos” that will guide the crowd through the morning session is only a matter of circumstances and taste.

Remix work is by none other than Buenos Aires based Forest On Stasys. Owner of the celebrated label Danza Nativa and a highly accomplished producer, stretching from tribal Ambient to dirty, mind-melting peak-time Techno, we knew we’d be in for a treat for this collaboration. Staying true to a Hydrous sound universe, while adding gentle tribal percussion and some über-psychedelic alien bleeps á la Eat Static, this track will blow minds on a starlit night out in the wild.

Hailing from the current capital of craziness, Dommie's debut EP, “Cutting Through,” introduces a distinctively refined and immersive psychedelic palette, engineered for modern dance floors yet rich with textural depth. Conceived as a cohesive auditory journey, it weaves driving, hypnotic groove with subtle, unpredictable turns, creating a captivating and subtly disorienting atmosphere. This confident first statement showcases Dommie's skill in crafting nuanced electronic landscapes that reward close listening. The package is further elevated by an authoritative remix from Kontrapunkt label head Nikita von Tiraspol (SXDNS449), resulting in a robust and well-rounded first offering.

Premiered here, the title track is where the thesis crystallises into a mesmeric, floor-focused reality. A lean, insistent house pulse provides the skeletal drive, but the soul of the piece lies in its lush, psychedelic detail. Above the minimal groove, arpeggiated synth layers emerge not as rigid sequences, but as something fluid and alive – a cascade of liquid electricity that pools, spirals, and gently dissolves the edges of the rhythm. This is the sound of a focused mind in a state of elegant distortion, crafting a trippy, ever-shifting topography within the four-four framework. It’s functional gear for the nightclub's heartbeat, polished until it becomes a portal.
