Hailing from the Netherlands and childhood friends since high school, Daniel & Hans' ear for music started at a young age. They'd sneak up into the attic to play the vinyl they’d collected, annoying the parents as every good child does. Eventually, electronic circuits & noise making machines were being used and music production became a real possibility.  With time, the duo would refine their production finesse and put their signature jazzy stamp on the world.

Dr. Peacock & Le Bask @ Insane Festival, Avignon 2016

Since her 2004 debut album “Complex Simplicity” Boddhi has been a fan of Teedra Moses, famous for her own classic R&B songs such as 'Be Your Girl', not to mention her noteworthy collaborations with the likes of Rick Ross, Raphael Saadiq, Christina Milian and Mary J. Blige among others.

'Skin Diver' is the first official collaboration of Teedra Moses with Electronic music. 
The perfect crossover between Afro centric rhythms and modern R&B. Her latest album “Cognac & Conversation” and Boddhi’s “Transition” released in 2015 are both featuring the song. 

As the video for “Skin Diver” is about to come out, we give you a set of remixes by some of UK’s most looked after Dj/Producers, Pablo Martinez and D Malice as well as a splendid Edit by New York’s own DJ/Poet/Producer Oveous. We’ve also added the already known Boddhi and Mr. de Shada remixes. 
All those, are giving the original song different flavours for different tastes. A twist which will at once seduce, uplift and delight any dance floor.

Chaos In The CBD Boiler Room Melbourne DJ Set

Not Safe For Wax slides into it's first release with head honcho Miagma's Her Palms EP, which delivers four cuts of emotive, warehouse ready tunes, thawed out and prepped for these winter months!

The title track sets us off, combining rattling hats, blurry pads and one tough cookie of a kick to make a banger Beato would be proud of. On remix duties is everyone's favorite UK based Spaniard Pépe, bringing us back to those early days of Ibiza with his soaring balearic vibes. 

The B side flips the script on genres entirely, rumbling through with Untitled #3, a breakbeat-to-broken foot of a floor stomper. Finishing out our journey is Anguish Lagoon; a proper tribute to junglists and jungles alike!

Flume Boiler Room London Live Set

I am constantly thinking of different themes to build a mix around. With the completion of each mix I typically fall into a 2-3 week funk where I try to think of a new theme for my next mix. Following the Folger's Blends mix I was struggling to think of a new theme. Then, one day while doing a random google search I stumbled onto the above logo. At first glance, I thought the logo was straight dope. However, the logo became even cooler when I learned that it was the creation of my favorite t-shirt designer, Derek from Manifest Worldwide. Given that the saying behind the logo comes from a ATCQ song, I was originally intending to do a Tribe mix. However, since Tribe mixes are a dime a dozen I went in the direction of creating a mix that attempts to capture the jazzy vibe that groups like Tribe and Digable Planets spawned. As the title suggests, all songs on this mix incorporate jazz based samples. The track selection includes music from jazzy groups and producers such as A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Diamond D, Black Moon, De La Soul, Madlib, No ID, Gang Starr, Showbiz & AG, Big L, The Roots, and Nas (I think that's all of them?). Half the fun of making this mix was doing the research to ensure that all songs maintained a jazz break. Some were no brainers, but other songs with jazz breaks were quite surprising. Jazz based samples have always given a special vibe to hip hop music so I hope this mix captures that magic. Thanks again to Derek at Manifest for inspiring the mix's theme.
