Having released the popular ‘Voces’ on Earthly Tapes 03, DJ Raff is back on Earthly Measures for his first full EP on the label – expect Afro - Latin Tropical rhythms with a sprinkle of Acid throughout!

"Aquí Voy" is a collage of samples made up to create a tropical atmosphere with a constant bed of wiggly sub-basses that serve as the basis for the dissonant melodies of the Berimbau, the main instrumental within the track.

The title track 'Crudo' is a cross between Acid House and Percussive Afro-Latin rhythms. The track begins slowly with a rain of chants and percussions that give way to a storm of heavy kicks and a constant distorted 303, rounded off by soft Marimba melodies. Peak dance-floor vibes.

The Lo-fi Nostalgia Por Un Sample puts together samples of old scratch records whilst sampling vinyl that Raff used in the early 2000s to DJ in Hip Hop and Funk bands.

Dengue Dengue Dengue (@Dengue) have an enviable ability to whisk together the traditional and electronic. Their debut LP La Alianza Profana was a stellar example of just that - a cumbia-cum-electronica joyride dip-dyed in all the right amounts of psychedelia and mystique. 2014's follow up project, Serpiente Dorada EP was no less of a trip. And now with July 2015 here, the Peruvian pair are providing a sneak peek at their next move. "Murdah" is four minutes of footwork-paced hysteria that showcases a step up in tempo. Unrelenting drum pounds, a percussive tribal backbone and rapid-fire vocal chops become locked in an aural bull-fight that's both infectious and dancefloor-ready.

Originally released in 2015, "Mainframe" emerged as the third album by Plaster on the esteemed Ukrainian label, Kvitnu. 
This particular release marked a significant shift, as it was the first to feature Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri as the sole creative force behind the project, following the personal departure of Giuseppe Carlini. 
This evolution in the lineup shaped "Mainframe" into a focused journey. 
The album became a direct conduit for Moniri's singular vision, meticulously crafting a sound that, as reviews from the time attested, delivers a visceral listening experience. 
It delves deep into the established territories of industrial and experimental electronic music, yet with an intensity and precision that pushes their boundaries, inviting listeners into its intricate, often abrasive, sonic landscapes.

The reissue of this album was initially slated for release some years ago, following Kvitnu's decision to cease their label activities in 2020. 
Subsequently, an Australian label expressed keen interest in bringing this new version to life. 
However, despite initial high hopes and considerable effort, a series of miscommunications and the unforeseen challenges of the Covid era unfortunately brought the project to a standstill.
In early 2025, determined to release his album via Textvra, Gianclaudio launched a GoFundMe campaign. 
The response was immediate and overwhelming: he secured the production budget in less than a month. 
"Mainframe re_coded" is not just a reissue, but a completely new vision. 
Envision a meticulously remastered sound, enriched with captivating bonus tracks, the raw energy of live recordings, and bold remixes by Franck Vigroux, Agan, and Kaeba that reimagine its very core.

In this milestone album, Plaster weaves complex, layered soundscapes where obsessive rhythms, abrasive distortions, and gloomy atmospheres merge into a hypnotic whole.

While some might consider DES a newer artist, he has been on the scene as early as 2012 with his massive single on Moveltraxx, Jumpin Duck. With remixes from Lazy Ants, DJ Earl, Javier Estrada, Vatican Swag and Oui’wack (now Wiwek), Jumpin Duck was a heavy-hitter.   With his last release in 2014 on the Tunacat Label REBIRTH, DES now returns with Milan / Florence, a heavy Afro-bass EP on VOODOO REBEL inspired by a trip from his hometown Milan to VR’s headquarter Florence, with three original tracks and three remixes.   
The EP moves between DES’s banging electro house sound and VR’s more tropical, experimental sound, with remixes from global bass heavy-hitter’s Motin, the Italian Balera Favela ambassador prp, Tunacat’s Boogaloo & Bizt. The title track creates the right tension with a tribal African chant that transforms into a subdriven, powerful cumbia/breakbeat track. Ramen & Churches stands out as the most wild track on the EP, with a high-pitched synth and batucadas on a loopy chant. Florence / Milan is a slow moombahton track, where the Brazilian berimbau meets a digiridoo for a mystical, middle-Eastern feel. 
On the remix side, Motin gives us a superb remix of Florence / Milan, creating a minimal moombahton track. Prp’s remix of Ramen & Churches drives the dance floor into a middle-Eastern journey, with six vibe-heavy minutes of intense teleportation. Last but not least, Boogaloo & Bizt turn the original into a groovy house tune, driven by a hypnotic synth and an irresistible drum pattern.

EARTH NIGHT is an initiative harnessing the energy of the global nightlife scene to raise awareness and funds for climate action. On April 19th, 2019, we're throwing our second annual celebration, with events all over the planet and our first musical release. 

This compilation features nearly 60 tracks by artists from 12 countries. Covering a wide range of styles in electronic music, it is a bold response to the commitment our community has toward the challenge of Climate Change. 

Proceeds from all EARTH NIGHT activities will fund projects focused on effective climate solutions through direct partnerships. This includes work at the nexus of renewable energy, health and education with Little Sun, boosting the global climate youth movement with Earth Guardians, and offsetting the impact of DJ air travel with CO2 Logic.
