Surgeon first encountered Jesse Dorris via live streams of his broadcasts on the legendary, independent American radio station WFMU, where his show Polyglot https://www.wfmu.org/playlists/PX mixes up new electronic sounds, queer ephemera, and vintage queasy listens each week as the sun rises over New York City. For the March 2024 instalment of Tresor Meets Surgeon, the pair team up in Globus for an all-night b2b that takes cues from Joe Meek’s studio to the GRM to the Loft—anywhere sound waves hit four walls and resonate. 
For this all night session Jesse and Tony played one hour on, one hour off with Jesse starting the night. We hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we did playing the music.

Solid Steel (15th December) In Hour 1 this week we welcome Stroboscopic Artefacts label boss Lucy, also known as the Italian-born and Berlin-based producer Luca Mortellaro. He's been releasing music for over a decade with tracks on Zehnin, Samurai Horo, Ware, Curie Recordings, as well as his last album 'Self Mythology' on Stroboscopic Artefacts. Music featured includes tracks by Chevel, Moritz Von Oswald, Marcel Dettmann, Ricardo Villalobos, Yotam Avni, Blawan and Planetary Assault Systems. He told us;
"This mix was live recorded during one of my latest gigs, and this particular one happened during a show in one of those places (which I cannot name) where I can play extended sets, where I feel fully at home, having the right settings to feel a great amount  of ease and freedom of giving a very wide interpretation to the word “Techno’."
