Nocturna is a new project by Andrea Cassino and Danny Lloyd from Tuscany in Italy - A region synonymous with quality underground house techno for many years, Dj's like Francesco Farfa and Alex Neri rose to fame, with clubs like Tenax striving the way forward delivering quality underground line ups week after week, and this is where Andrea and Danny learnt their craft and made good friends with these DJ legends. 

And so to Big Bang we begin, and its an infectious deep layered gem that oozes out from the off, locking you in to its magical groove as the percussion develops and synth stabs intersperse with the rising arpeggiator and subtle pads, your mind is lost inside the chasm of sound before you are gently eased into the sub-bass lined dreamy drop that induces smiles at an instant. 

Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile are first up on remix duties, and the talented trio strip the vibe right back, with its deep tension creating mood with hints of the melodics subtly infused as we meander effortlessly through the mesmerising odyssey. This excellent remix firmly proves this superb production outfits rich and diverse musical tapestry. 

Next up is Sudbeat label manager Graziano Raffa, a rising name in the underground scene, and who's recent collaboration with Lonya is doing the damage right now. His remix flows with class from the instant it starts, encapsulating a wealth of harmonics peppered throughout, creating a timeless bubbler that will seriously do some damage. 

And if they weren't enough, another original track Microcosmos closes the package, a sprightly voyage, deep yet uplifting, with chiming and tinkling sounds meeting a big low end and warm pads laying a smooth blanket of warmth on top to keep you cosy.

For the 13th release of our story is time to call back Main Leaf, our label owner and story teller. He is back on WOOD with “Mountains” an EP with two accurately selected original tracks and two original remixes. The Ep starts with “Mountains” a powerful hypnotic grooving expedition into the natural processes of the deep human mind. Truly characterised by the ebb and the flow and the climb and the drop, Mountains is the main theme which gives the name to the whole EP. The second track “Cross my heart and hope to die” is a grooving emotional return to the pure young times, a nostalgic trip which will make your sensations evolve. The first remix on board is brought by one of our favourite artists present now in the electronic scene, Solemn eye delivers a perfect mystic powerful remix of “Mountains”. The surprise will be in the middle. The second remix to take part in the release is made by our friends in law EKDK & Apollo’s Messengers who delivered us a perfect 80s shuffling techno remix.

Agents Of Time are proud to present ‘Ordinary Cosmic Dance’, the new EP on their own Obscura imprint. Over three tracks the Bari based trio brandish hypnotic, looping melodies in techno structures with subtle trance references. It arrives a year after the birth of the label, which has since issued music by Hiver, Amandra and The Hacker amongst others.

‘Ordinary Chaos’ builds low end frequencies juxtaposed with a stripped back melodic lead and staccato bass. ‘Cosmic Frequencies’ revolves around a syncopated synth line that swells its way through mesmeric percussion and entrancing pads. ‘Dance Impulse’ takes fragments of dub techno and remoulds them into a glitchy dancefloor workout.
