Originally released in 1993, Two Full Moons & A Trout was one of the seminal releases on Platipus Records.

It was picked up by Rising High in 1994 featuring the epic remix by Caspar Pound and mix by Friends Lovers & Family.

Platipus delivered 2 further remixes in 2006 by Luke Chable, Chab and Tetonik^.

Now 7 years later and 20 years after the original release, we thought it's time for a fresh take on this legendary release.

This time round from with mixes from Belgium's Airwave, Israel's Freedom Fighters & Domestic and USA's Terra Ferma, each bringing their own take within today's sound along with the Original 14" Mix.

Art Of Trance & LOUD & Domestic 'Moroccan Roll' (ON3 Remix) Platipus Preview

Still on a roll, Art Of Trance producer Simon Berry unleashes his second production this year, this time going it alone.

Vocodered vocals float over a deep chugging tribal undercurrent. Heavily verbed hypnotic square-waves blast out unreservedly and syncopated flanged ricocheting percussion collide into the ether.

Kaukuta’s Terra Ferma Remix retains the pumping throbbing underbelly of the original whilst elevating matters skyward by unleashing vicious acidic barking 303’s.

After completing 13 remixes in the past few years Terra Ferma is now concentrating on finishing a new EP of original music to be released this year as well as working on two new separate collaborations with artists ‘Red.Tree' and ‘Kevens'.

Ricochet Will be released: 28th May 2014 on Platipus.

During my travels in Mumbai last year, a Andrew Mackay from Bombay Dub Orchestra connected me with vocalist Vasuda Sharma for a tech house track I was working on. The lyrics "dheer dhariye Re Mana" are improvised during the song with "alaaps" and "Sargam" (Sa,re ga..) bascially meaning, "Have patience my dear heart." 

The idea behind the words: We get restless or disappointed when things aren't the way we'd like them to be. in times like these, one has to remind oneself to have patience because, in the end along with hard word, it's patience that pays off.

Originally released in 1994, ‘Cactus’ is regarded as one of Union Jack’s finest moments. 23 years on, despite a plethora of requests, no remixes have ever been commissioned…until now.

Irish Techno DJ/Producer and rising star Jonno Brien originally got the ball rolling last year when he sent in his remix out of the blue. It was quite simply too good to be ignored. Carl Cox, who was one of only a handful of DJ’s to be sent the mix, hammered it worldwide and included it as one of his highlights at the Closing Party @ Space, Ibiza.

Adam Kent serves up a driving semi-spangled tech houser.

Psychedelic sorcerers OOOD remain faithful to the prickly original but slam it into the 21st planet and beyond.

Airwave’s Laurent reappears with an extended gloaming exploration into Cactaceae cornucopia.

After a long hiatus, Quietman’s Laurence and Wilf emerge from a shimmering mirage with a sublime slice of desert sunrise.

This is the audio captured by the Nano shuttle’s in-flight recorder during the bizarre occurrence when the shuttle was mysteriously sucked into a cross-dimensional loop moments after launching. Fortunately two of the most forward thinking aeronauts, Magik & Volcano, were at the helm and, through some creative tweaking of the control dials and switches, they managed to break free of the mind-warping situation. 

** Listen with caution, as there have been reports of the worm-hole re-opening after prolonged listening!
