Connected the Monomachine again and explored the fm+ engines. Tried to generate some Plaid sounding tones over my Micro Q and A-Station. Also using synced pwm which sounds very sid alike - not that the C64 had 6 notes polyphony... Not using the sequencer on the MnM but playing from a midi keyboard, for some longer evolving melodic phrases. Drums from the ESI-4000 sampler. It has a tad warmer and rounder tone than the Proteus 2000 rompler so I go for it from now on. Cold meets warm sort of. Each track printed thru my RNLA 7239 for some extra color.
