The Tones series is a collaborative and fun project from the artists who are signed to the label. You know when you have tracks in your repertoire that you haven’t shared with the masses? You give them to the world. Tones gives our listeners a chance to listen, hear and understand the styles of all our artists. To add, DISTRICT160 has a color scheme for each project. The current color for this issue is green. Green represents the nature in regrowth and recovery from the cold climate.


This project is represented by JTRA, Juke Nukem, Cuenique, VicOne, Sideswipe and Tha Abacus. With guests SpyMC and MoonDoctor. When you get a listen to this jewel at the top of the summer season, listen to it with open ears. Ambidextrous, the chameleon, 65 Shapeshifters. This bad man bought his first pair of decks back in 2008, when bankers were gamblers, and drum n bass was stil reppin under the ground. 9 years laters, it was time to step up his game and so he founded the label and collective DARK REAL DARK. In 2018, the 65 Shapeshifters became a resident at Begrime nights in Berlin. Known for his retinue of bass contortions, he slowly became a household name and made his way to Mega Buff.

@Amamelia is the musical project of Amelia Berry, a musician and songwriter currently based in Auckland.

Amamelia's music combines breaks normally found in Jungle & Drum & Bass with a sugary synthetic pop sensibility.

Outside of Amamelia, Amelia can be found creating ambient soundscapes in caves as Old Chips, playing in queerbo pop-punk band Babyteeth and performing as one half of synth pop duo Fimo. In the past she's been the mastermind behind the romantic jangle of Polyester (fka as Kip McGrath), and one third of queer DJ trio PWB. She is currently host of 95bFM's illustrious chart show, the 95bFM Top 10
