Arrythmia was a hybrid event between exhibition and performance organized and curated by Niki Danai, Niki Maria Lore & the collective plusplusplus, taking place during 48 Stunden Neukölln (Berlin). Based on Lefebvre’s book „Arrythmia“ this event brought together visual artists, musicians and performers whose work circles around the topic of rhythm and a-rhythm. From 27th Friday to Sunday 29th evening Centrum gallery was filled with visual art, DJ-Sets and Live performances creating a polyrhythmic glitch of contemporary emotions.

Although @s_l_y_n grew up in Den Haag, she now lives in Glasgow, where she studies as a marine biologist and analyses the consequences of climate change on life in the deep oceans. Ashlynn chooses submerged textures and ethereal atmospheres, creating a sonic apnea capable of holding one's breath in time. Through "in Passing tides" she connects with other artists of the aquatic world, exploring sound waves under an organic lens.

slyn is known for her immersive and eccentric club sounds. Her sound draws heavily from her marine biology background and passion for hydrofeminism, creating sets that overflow with underwater atmospheres. Crafted with emotion, texture, and flow, her distinct style resonates through dreamy, washed-out, algae-like relaxing layers or the rough, choppy sounds of IDM, Bass and Jungle. Currently the executive producer of co:clear & co-founder alongside Slowfoam of a new label Gravity Pleasure, slyn has been playing in cities such as Berlin, London & Amsterdam.

Gabrielle Rose - Arrhythmia - 28/06/25

In 2015, Débora Vilchez created Morfvoz—a fusion of “morphology” and “voice”—to explore her voice as a harmonic instrument. Blending vocal experimentation with Peruvian rhythms, she breaks away from traditional structures. She performed with Sabrina Schray and played drums in Perigon (2012–2024). As Morfvoz, she directed music for Johanna at Staatstheater Stuttgart and later composed for several of Manja Kuhn’s theater productions. In 2023, she created and performed the score for Kassandra at Stadtbühne Frankfurt.

This mix moves through those spaces, gathering textures like fragments of dreams, drawing a line between fragility and force. It is music as a shelter, a tide, a whispered uprising.

Recorded by slyn, co-founder of the FLINTA-focused label and platform Gravity Pleasure (alongside Slowfoam), this selection is composed entirely of works by FLINTA artists. Each piece resonates with its own distinct weight, yet together they form a continuum that honors presence, resilience, and care within experimental and ambient music.
