Reeko, also known as Architectural, started DJing in the late 90s and producing in the early 2000s, and he has released countless timeless records since. He founded the labels Mental Disorder and Evidence and was part of the PoleGroup collective for a decade. Collaborations with Surgeon, Oscar Mulero and Exium, as well as releases on many legendary labels, are part of his discography. As we slowly ease out of the warmer summer days, we are delighted to welcome Noah Lyas to the Embodiment podcast series. With more than 15 years of experience in making music and as co-founder of Profundo Collective, he has carved out a space for deep, hypnotic explorations that move masterfully between nuance and vigor.

Noah Lyas reflects on the recording process with striking authenticity:

“During the summer, it gets so hot in my attic studio that making music is almost impossible. Even in the evening, with the windows open, it’s hard to stay focused and attentive while composing; only warm, heavy ambient pads come into being, with crickets providing the rhythm.

This mix was recorded just after all those hot days, when the temperature was finally low enough to dance in the attic again, and to feel what it’s like to be active. It begins calmly, flowing slowly, until the first low notes become possible after which it spills over into rhythmic steps. Just like the transition from those sweltering summer evenings to the creation of this set.”

A fluid journey that rises gently from ambient depth to grounded rhythmic flow, echoing the passage from heat-induced stillness into motion, presence, and dance.

Embodiment 073 - Noah Lyas

Reaching our 100th edition feels special, and we couldn’t be more honored to celebrate it with Anthony Child. Many know him as Surgeon or as part of the British Murder Boys alongside Regis whose work has left a lasting mark on techno. Yet there’s another side to his work - one that steps away from the club and into more spacious terrain. You can hear it in his electronic recordings from the Maui project in 2015, in his collaborations with Daniel Bean as The Transcendence Orchestra, or through OLD Technology, the label they run together as a playground for questioning reality.

For Unrush, Anthony offers a mix that only he could create. A journey that wanders through krautrock, psychedelic twists, ambient spaces and moments of lighthearted play. It has the same curious energy that makes his monthly Noods mixes so inspiring, and yet it feels made to be taken in slowly, with time and openness.

We’re grateful to share this milestone with someone who has shaped so much of the music we love, and who reminds us that listening can be both grounding and transporting. Press play and enjoy it - on a walk, with friends, or in your own quiet time...

flusterbrew3 is a spoken word poet who previously performed original pieces live at the Synthetic Tales for CTM Vorspiel 2024. But for this prerecorded Synthetic Tales, they taped a reading of part of a poem by Kristina Lugn, with each stanza echoed by Klara's own English translation. They then gave it to ismilianis to add music, noise, and texture.

ismilianis is a sound artist who's been followed by death for the past year. the mountains called, they found a goblin in a gathering of witches and it told them about the waves of life.
