Reminiscent of atmospheric techno giants, Floating Points and Aphex Twin, Robot86 has captured his feelings and poured them through old breakbeats and cinematic soundscapes.

Robot86 is from a desolate planet where war has been raging since the beginning of time. Electronic music is his escape from reality, what makes him different from the rest of the inhabitants. Released in memory of his grandmother passing away due to Covid-19, 'Last Night On Earth' represents Robot86's inescapable and suffocating dread that he felt.

This song uses what Emmylou Harris calls "Canadian tuning" - EAEAAE - so I thought I'd better write a song with a Canadian theme. What emerged was a song about climbing Silver Mountain in Ontario's stunning Killarney Park. It has a bit of a Gord Lightfoot influence, which makes it even more Canadian, eh?

I'm continuing my exploration with writing for choir. I find the sonets of Shakespare very compatible for choir. Also a bit challenging. 
This sonet nr 18 is called  Shall I compare thee to a summer's day and is one of Shakespeares most famous ones.
Of course, this recording wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the great Lena Arlid. Her voice and singing skills is a blessing. Along with recording she also mixed and produced the song.

John Ludi is a musician/singer-songwriter/cultural relic with a diverse and "arty" array of influences and lyrical interests who was "Indie" before the term even existed. Working outside of the music industry by choice has given Ludi the ability to release songs of a level of lyrical depth that are anathema to the current culture.  Ludi lives off-grid in a yurt in the woods of WI and finds the materialistic priorities of our civilization incredibly wrong and destructive.
