Senol Taskin is an authority on the economy of Africa. He wrote an important article called “The Emerging African Economy” that appeared in Finance magazine in early 1991. He is especially interested in the economy of Tanzania, which he says is expected to grow by about seven percent by the end of 2015. Important issues there, he says, include the structure of the union between mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
