Issue
The public health crisis of Intimate partner violence and violence against women has increased dramatically over the course of the covid lockdowns. 
Touring and recording artist Poeina is unfortunately no stranger to this, as she has been recovering from a violent assault by a former music producer that left her permanently disabled.
Solution
The filming of the music video for her soon to be released track “Villain” is commencing this month, a labor of the heart in which beauty & brutality collide in a confrontational art piece that addresses violence against women head on.  
This content will be shared in order to help victims of sexual and domestic violence to become empowered to break the cycles of silence and break free from the bonds of oppression.

We are actively pitching this song for artist, Film, and TV projects. This song was originally written as the end credits for the Sony/Alcon feature film "Blade Runner 2049".  Produced by Michael Hodges (Executive Music Producer for the film and soundtrack) for Alcon/Sleeping Giant Music Group (ASG). Ken Caillat and Michael Hodges at ASG had me booked a week in advance and I only learned of the what I was writing the night before the session.  I had never met Brendan and the day of the session he didn't know what the writing assignment was for until I told him.  We spent about 1.5 hours getting to know each other at the ASG studios and found our common music goal in life was to inspire and leave a legacy of love in our work. Once we started, it just poured out of us and took us maybe 15 minutes to write the bulk of the song.  Please checkout Brendan when you get a chance.  He is my my forever brother and this song is part of our "Legacy".
