We unite and promote the great indie scenes in the Southeast Asian Region; Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

The Felt Tips began to form in late 2005 when Miguel Navarro arrived in Glasgow from Spain hoping to start a band and replied to Andrew Paterson’s 18 month old ad for band members.  Previously botched attempts meant that Andrew had pretty much given up on his own dreams of being in a band and he was at first reluctant to meet up. Fortunately Miguel persisted and soon the pair had formed a strong musical bond, aided by a shared love of certain indiepop bands (for instance, both regularly wore Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci t-shirts).  Andrew’s childhood friend Neil Masson soon joined on bass and the quartet was completed in 2008 with the arrival of Kevin ‘Hug’ Carroll on drums.  The band played in and around Glasgow for a while and released 3 singles on indiepop labels Cloudberry and Weepop.  More recently, the band released their acclaimed Scottish Arts Council funded album, Living and Growing, on Plastilina Records.  To support this, The Felt Tips have played various gigs around Europe and beyond, culminating in an appearance at the 2011 NYC Popfest.  In 2012, the band recorded their second album, Symbolic Violence, at CaVa studios in Glasgow, which they look forward to unleashing on you in early 2013.

LILYSTARS RECORDS is an independent record label based in Manila, Philippines dedicated to Indie (Pop/Rock/Electronic and its derivative) Music. Determined to house significant local and international indie artists and connect them to the world and beyond where music lovers are most receptive to its aesthetics and sensibility.

EardrumsPop is a small netlabel, and all our releases are free downloads from eardrumspop.com. Our style is "warm and melodic", which usually includes indiepop and more folky songs. 

We try to get the best people to illustrate our coverart, and we're proud to say that so far, our cover-art is high class! We're four people in the team: Silja, Knut, Stefan and Tim.
