A long player in the game, Kylie Rose started collecting and playing vinyl in 2000 and going to the regular Spin and Jam meet up events in West End, Brisbane where she would play house, progressive, breaks and techno. After moving to Byron Bay and returning to Brisbane, she landed a break-through event at the RNA Showgrounds and then a six-year residency at O.M.O, a monthly queer event with a dedicated following and a love for dark electronic sounds. 

During that time she also played an all vinyl set in the Hordern Pavilion to over 6000 people for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras after-party. From there, she spent eight years playing events around Brisbane - including the famed Moon Bar at the Empire Hotel and Fringe Bar - before switching to a full digital setup in 2009. 

It was then that her musical horizons expanded and the many different styles that she plays were explored and she began to seek new opportunities, playing at Family Nightclub as a guest and holding her own events at Fringe Bar. 

After leaving Brisbane for Sydney, she was a regular DJ and punter at underground leather parties in Melbourne and Sydney. This really honed her ear towards a darker, deeper tech house sound. But in 2012 she returned to Brisbane to take up a residency at the iconic Wickham Hotel before leaving for Germany to gain some new experiences and soak up new sounds. After returning to Brisbane in 2014, she slowly started picking up gigs again and eventually landed a Saturday night residency at Family Nightclub in 2017, along with other smaller events aimed at the LGBT crowds. 

Fast-forward to today, and you will find her playing outdoor events for the Cunning Stunts crew in Byron Bay and live-streaming sets to people all across the world. She has also expanded her music offering to collaborations with live musicians and other like-minded DJs across a range of sounds and styles including organic house, melodic techno, tribal and downtempo and bass-laden break beats. 

With an ear for an uplifting track and her finger on the pulse of what makes a dance floor tick, this DJ has a wide taste in music and isn't afraid to mix things up.
