Deniro is the moniker of Reynier Hooft van Huijsduijnen, one of the most promising new techno talents rising from The Netherlands. His precise and sparing use of melody and rhythm in beautiful fashion, and importantly not at the expense of its inherent, is deeply rooted in timeless Detroit soul music. His craftsmanship has gained attention by the likes of Hunee, ROD, Steve Rachmad and Nina Kraviz to name but a few. The latter released his track ‘Organezized’ on her imprint трип (Trip) in 2015. He's also heavily involved in Tape Records, a small but acclaimed electronic music label from Amsterdam that is distributed by Clone. Besides being a releasing artist on the label, he’s one of the participators and executives that helm the imprint.

Fabrizio Lapiana is a well-known fixture on the contemporary Italian techno scene. His musical career started in his hometown Rome where he began collecting vinyl and DJ’ing in the early 90’s. After being mainly active on the local scene, Fabrizio in 2008 started producing and founded his own imprint, the well renowned Attic Music. The label quickly expanded from hosting just Fabrizio’s work into also releasing other artists fitting his personal definition of techno. To date Fabrizio has over two handfuls of releases, Attic Music serves as home to some of these, but also other respected labels such as ARTS, Figure Jams and M_Rec Ltd to mention a few. His productions are often dark and hypnotic, yet at times they have brighter melodious elements, with each of these components smoothly entering as the tracks unfold. However playing records to a live audience is still his favourite element. Fabrizio has honed and perfected his deejaying skills for over two decades, therefore being famous for his immaculate mixing technique. To create the setting he prefers, his sets travel from deeper to harder techno, darker pieces are introduced to more melodic ones and acid or old school gems get updated with new unheard material – these are some of the key ingredients for Fabrizio while creating an intimate journey for the listener. 

Lapiana’s latest achievement as a composer is his debut album “Intraverso” released in February 2018. With this collection of nine songs the artist departs from his previously dancefloor-focused work into something new and far more personal than where he has ever been before. The album shows slower, down-tempo, ambient influenced and more thoughtful compositions, unraveling light, darkness, happiness and sadness. “Intraverso” reveals an artist shedding another layer of himself, showing a softer more vulnerable side to the world.

He has an EP coming up on the danish imprint Echocord Colour.
And after summer he start to work on a new album, with some collabs in the Analogue Studio " Willem Twee" in the south of Holland.

You can see him playing at the  Awakenings Festival / Amsterdam on July 1
and he will be touring in Asia during the month of July, the dates will be announced soon.

BIO:
Keepsakes, the moniker of British-Kiwi producer and DJ James Barrett, has been going from strength to strength in the murky world of techno in the past few years. With EPs pressed to wax on Ansome and Ossian’s South London Analogue Material and Germany’s Mindcut Music, appearances on the last two instalments of Mord Records’s Herdersmat compilations, plus European tours in 2016 and 2017, Keepsakes has been working hard to push his crunchy sound and diverse DJ sets internationally.
Furthermore, Barrett co-founded the HAVEN INTL club night alongside Jaded Nineties Raver in 2015 in Auckland, New Zealand - aiming to introduce a new generation of Kiwis to the weirder and harder side of house and techno. At the beginning of 2018 this also expanded into a vinyl-focused record label, launching with an EP of screechy bangers from the Haven co-founder and also featuring appearances from Ansome, Ayarcana, and Tommy Holohan in its first year.
Now residing in Berlin, Keepsakes is now focused full time on bringing a tough and eclectic vibe to dance floors worldwide - utilising his productions, DJ sets, and label to push a techno focused sound with flickers of house, electro, bass music and breaks while still maintaining a distinct crunchy character.

Echoing the style in her productions, her live set beautifully unfolds with quality and intricacy, bouncing through dark, tribal, and acid undertones. Overall, this is one cracker of a mix! Reclaim Your City 004 | Jeff Derringer (Chicago)

Jeff Derringer is a producer and performer based in Chicago. A native drummer, Jeff found his way into production via a string of scoring projects for short films and commercials in the late 90s and early 2000s. Hugely influenced by the 80s film soundtracks of his youth, a love of electronic alternative pop and industrial eventually led Jeff into the realm of deep techno. In 2010, Jeff's first EP appeared on the New York label Subtrak, along with a remix by Samuli Kemppi. The 'Principle' EP found the ears of Ali Wells, the UK producer behind the respected Perc Trax label, who went on to release Jeff's next three EPs. Jeff has since released records on Speedy J's Electric Deluxe label, as well as Milan's M_Rec LTD. Jeff's music has been charted and supported by some of the techno underground's most respected artists, including Luke Slater, Silent Servant, Tommy Four Seven, Giorgio Gigli, Brendon Moeller and many more. Jeff is the creative director, resident and founder of the Oktave project, an event series that showcases the finest in underground techno talent. Oktave hosts events in both New York and Chicago, making it one of America's most recognized techno event brands. Truly an independent project, Oktave prides itself on taking risks, creating a strong community, and presenting an uncompromising selection of current techno artists. Previous guests at Oktave have included the likes of Chris Liebing, Function, Slam, Dasha Rush and dozens more. Oktave has provided the platform for the New York or Chicago debuts of Cio D'or, Silent Servant, Edit Select, Donato Dozzy, Milton Bradley, Tommy Four Seven, Rrose, and Peter Van Hoesen.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Deepak Sharma. The DJ, producer and curator of Hidden has been refining his craft for well over a decade and has become known for unrelenting and hypnotic sets and productions from the U.S. to Europe and beyond. Today we present a special mix crafted using several unreleased tracks, forthcoming releases and favorites from across the techno spectrum. 

We also take a look at Sharma’s new EP, Bedlam, out March 16th on Hidden Recordings. This is perhaps the producer’s most ambitious work to date and we were quickly drawn in to its dark, almost trance-inducing qualities. Today, we also present the premiere of “Mania”, the final track on EP and a truly powerful way to close it out. The release also features a great remix from Barcelona duo- NX1.
