Premiere: Temudo - Fidelio [HAYES]

The 1st of April next month marks two years since the birth of mould.audio. For this occasion we have the pleasure of presenting the second instalment on our Collector's Series on the the label which was launched in November 2021.
[mldcs002] embodies Ruben Ganev's evolution into a deeper creative mindset and technical workflow. The project consists of four nocturnal constructs, which all together form a sonic trek which serves as a grounding tool for the body and the mind and thus continues the plot from the first instalment on the Collector’s Series [mldcs001].

The first ambient piece “Transition” serves as a prelude to the EP and the inspiration behind it is an ambient project made in 2003 by Virginia Zaharieva. The heart of the project, called House of Medusa, is a Roman Water Cistern in Istanbul’s Basilica, a place which gives us the vivid feeling of distance and space. It creates the sense of residing on a windy interplanetary station, or in catacombs where people and otherworldly creatures roam. A place which compliments the ones who are brave enough to meet their fears through embracing the unveiled shadows lurking in them to eventually illuminate a space for individual expression.

The second piece “Circuits” unfolds the sense of space created in the overture and evolves into sonic formations inspired by elemental natural disasters such as thunderstorms, earthquakes or witnessing magnetic or electro-static occurrences on a bigger scale. A combinational blend of poly-rhythmic structures serve as soil for sonic elements which symbolise such forces in the distance which are beyond our control. Thus the piece explores a realm in which there is a relationship between what can be “expected” and this which can not be foreseen, relating to the same occurrences in nature. Predictable, and yet only to an extent.

The third piece “Remnant” is about the archetypal journey of the hero: contrasts, challenges, losses, sacrifices and victories.
Remnant reflects what is left after all obstacles and what makes us worthy of an existence in a better world.

The fourth and last piece of the EP is a composition which also uses contrast in search of equilibrium.
“Navigator” is a ticket to another constellation of sounds, and with its tribal feel and warm low-end groove, it prepares us for a giant leap.

PFROPF returns to Monark recordings this time with DASH3D.
The talented Catalan producers bring us an ep heavily influenced by that Berlin techno sound of the mid-early nineties and with the style and influence of current times.
Minimalist synths, hard percussions along with a very marked kick drum make this release a declaration of intentions of the sound they intend to offer.
The ep closes with a Re-interpretation of label owner T-Dok with his signature touch.

[BIO]: 
RETHE is a young Polish producer, DJ and live performer from Wrocław. A resident of the Transformator club, which is also a "fixed point" in the line-ups of other places in Wrocław. It gradually builds its position and musical recognition in other cities and abroad. Co-founder of the newly formed collective and label Całość, where together with Hekato, Mislaw and Markovitz they realize their vision of a club experience. The ambitious project of these young artists, since April 2022, in addition to publishing and artistic activity, also provides impressions and emotions through the organization of events that define the nature of the Całość collective.
RETHE is currently 100% dedicated to music and further development, both in terms of production and live performance. In his studio in Wrocław, he organizes individual classes and masterclass workshops on the operation of the Ableton live program, music production and DJing. Along with the progress of his career, his style also takes shape, which he presents in his sets, where his own productions play the main role. He had the opportunity to visit, among others Schron, Praga Centrum or CEL, and he has also played in Berlin's Anomalie many times alongside such eminent artists as: Rene Wise, Pfirter, Nørbak and Quelza. Despite the variety of inspirations and genres he contains in his work, the hallmarks of his live performances are: tribal groove, subtle, spatial melodies and varied rhythms. Additionally, together with Yes Stanley, he creates a production duo - MS: 33, which has released several EPs, including a recent release - 'Save Ukraine EP', which aims to help the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Space Travel Records introduces one of the minds behind this project: Process. Our label boss showcases his signature sound on a 4 track solo EP filled with hypnotic, fast and aggressive sounds.

With heavy hitting drums and twisted sequences, Process takes us on a journey where force and speed combine with a profound and hypnotic sound, in order to give life to a sensation of restless movement and a transportive state

The EP begins wasting no time with “Dispossession”, where a mechanic and otherworldly sequence sets a pulsating tone for the entire track, combining with sharp drums and textures to provoke the feeling of a never-ending pattern.

“Destroy Invisible Boundaries” comes after, mixing the aggressive tone of a distorted melody together with a lush pad for a complex and euphoric feeling.

“S(t)imulation” brings a powerful combination of constantly evolving loops put together with drum sequences full of groove, resulting in a high-speed, pumping dance-floor igniter.

Lastly, “The Dynamic Human Spirit” closes this release in full force: break-beat drums, strong kicks, and a dissonant palette set the tone for a powerful discourse in a vocal sample.

From dance-floor killers to break-beat pure force, this release reflects Process’s vision and sound, fully unfiltered.

Polish Techno.logy was created in 2017 as a podcast series project. Over the years, it has become a respectful platform which hosted sets of many local artists as well as the international ones. 
Among many others we invited artists such as Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Joton, Bralle, Anne, Falling Echoes, Antonio de Angelis, Casual Treatment, D/n, Red Rooms, Juri Heidemann, Decka and many more.

As a natural progression we started to promote the music, which correlates with our vision by working with artists, collectives and labels and uploading their tracks as premieres.
So far, we have been trusted by such labels as Planet Rhythm, Newrhytmic Recs, KSR, SK Eleven, VOXNOX Berlin, OECUS, Out Of Place, Prophet Recordings, Immaterial Archives, Devotion Records, METHODICAL and many more.

Recently we have also released our first album as a form of a V/A hosted artists like: Vertical Spectrum, Tremor, SKZ, Internal Explorer, Szmer, Johannes De Leysen, Mislaw, Rethe, Rudeboy.
