For the eight edition of their label catalogue, [selected] puts the focus on their residents again. The Berlin based duo Lyric are in charge of this one, putting hypnotizing loops and tantalizing rhythms as their main focus.
As it should be, the EP starts out with its „Introduction”. It is plain and simple – no playing around, straight to the point techno without unwanted attitude or makeup. Sounds creeping in and out, searching for their roots and restlessly evolving by any means necessary.
Only the universe is „Eternal”. The mesmerizing scapes and slashes that build the composition construct a feeling of endless enchantment, while leaving no room for doubts that this is – indeed – eternal.
„Neologism” digs deeper and explores the greater realms of the genre. Soft keys dangle over ones head like an asymmetric pendulum – drooling you in, putting you in a transcendent state where everything is nothing and no limits seem to exist.
While still in trance, „Hemisphere” puts a spin on the record’s atmosphere. The mind boggling loop character is still very present, the odd chord progression puts an unexpected twist on it. Almost nightmare-ish, the elements gather and layer around you like a snake that has just shed its skin.
For the finale A.Morgan puts his spin on „Hemisphere”. The chords get more stabby, a range of belly, clinching percussion are eager to express themselves, tumbling through spheres of light and darkness.

Simone Gentile AKA Omis (Italy) is an Italian Techno DJ and Producer from the city of Turin and the one known for his challenges to techno music with new sounds and signatures and experimenting uncommon paths which caughtthe eyes of the most iconic Techno leading artists such as Charlotte De Witte on BBC Radio 1, Amelie Lens, Drumcomplex, Sasha Carassi just to name few.

Moteka is french producer Pierre Delort’s latest project.
Started In 2013, after 10 years touring the world with psytrance project Principles of Flight (Pierre Delort & Rémy Maurin) Moteka veers towards an assumed minimalism and restraint, inspired by the classic english techno scene such as Surgeon or Planetary Assault Systems. Moteka is one of the french label Skryptöm leading act, with a dark, percussive, hypnotic techno and perfectly mastered production skills.
Always open-minded, some of his tracks bear an out-of-this-world onirism, such as the EP « Xyceon » released in 2015 on Skryptöm. Moteka is also a regular artist of London-based Children of Tomorrow records, where he signs his darkest and rawest tracks, like the EP «Trimethoxysilyl » released in 2015 and still heard in many sets, or the EP « Daneel Olivaw » in 2019, were he reconnects with a faster sound, and a permanent search for sonic avantgardism.
Moteka is one of the scene’s sought-after producer and his tracks are played by the biggest names : Paula Temple, who plays the track « Apogee » (Asgardia EP, Skryptöm 2018, co-produced with Hemka) in all her sets, Rodhad, Ben Sims or Kobosil to name a few. As a live expert, each of Moteka’s musical unique and unforgettable musical trip is always well received by the hypnotized audience. This is the main reason why in 2018, Pierre is offered to join the super band Möd3rn.
In 2019, once again in his search of avant-gardism, Moteka presents his first album on Skryptom : «As we fought Iron Giants » an imaginary soundtrack of a techno-steam-punk tale, where every track illustrates the chapter of a heroic epic.
Moteka is back in 2022 with exciting new projects : the finalisation of an album with Truant, another Skyptöm artist, and the participation to the new Möd3rn album.

The World, as we know it, has changed. A routine rethought has allowed time to create. With borders closed and friends isolated from one another, our ‘40 Days In Quarantine’ series has invited artists to connect us all together once more via the power of music, as we live out this surreal and dystopian period. 

Borders Of Light’s boss, Toto Chiavetta, delivers our first installment - three tracks characterizing and capturing the varying emotions felt whilst confined by himself in Italy. It touches against the chaotic, the calm and the positive - emotions we have all been battling with over the past weeks. It shows the testament of the human mind and the strength and emotions we have all been experiencing. 

Suheir Hammad - What I Will (Toto Chiavetta Liaisons Dangereuses - 326 Michigan Ave Edition): A nostalgic battlecry

Polishing off the release is a penned tribute to two of Toto’s inspirations - Ron Hardy and Liaisons Dangereuses. Hardy was one of the purveyors of house music in Chicago in the 80s, and as a resident at The Music Box (address 326 Michigan Avenue) in the city, he would often play music from the equally innovative and unconventional German band. 

‘What I Will’ combines elements regularly expressed by both artists with a poem spoken by Suheir Hammad placed on top. The words are a feisty piece of art - a battlecry of rebelling against what’s considered the societal norm of thinking. In the background, bright harmonic chords beam through to form the uplifting groove, as raw hi-hats daze in for a classic disco structure: an element quintessential to and continually showcased in early house music. Coming to its peak, the line ‘I will dance and resist’ are looped repeatedly - highlighting a strengthed state of mind. Nearing the end, industrial-sounding elements inspired by Liaisons Dangereuses take their place for a punchier approach.

Seamlessly blending together a sense of tact with soulful sentimentality, driven by the powerful words of Hammad, ‘What I Will’ is a vigorous reminder of our own fighting spirit, and that we are stronger than we know right now.

Polish Techno.logy was created in 2017 as a podcast series project. Over the years, it has become a respectful platform which hosted sets of many local artists as well as the international ones. 
Among many others we invited artists such as Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Joton, Bralle, Anne, Falling Echoes, Antonio de Angelis, Casual Treatment, D/n, Red Rooms, Juri Heidemann, Decka and many more.

As a natural progression we started to promote the music, which correlates with our vision by working with artists, collectives and labels and uploading their tracks as premieres.
So far, we have been trusted by such labels as Planet Rhythm, Newrhytmic Recs, KSR, SK Eleven, VOXNOX Berlin, OECUS, Out Of Place, Prophet Recordings, Immaterial Archives, Devotion Records, METHODICAL and many more.
