My track on the Amniote x Ute Fundraiser Compilation. 
All the proceeds will be donated to The Red Van: a volunteer-run NGO working with harm reduction and human rights for street based sex workers in Copenhagen.

"Sidewinder" is my reptilian alias for Mama Snake's label, Amniote Editions. All artists are invited to create their own reptilian alter ego for the project. My last release there was the "Ripple Effect" EP in 2019. I first met her in Autumn 2018 in Copenhagen to play at Jolene, as well as attend in-person sessions for the mastering+lacquer cut for the record. We mastered with Joel at Six Bit Deep and cut the lacquer with Hari (HVAD) at Kommunal Dubplate. Proper stuff. Few weeks later we shared the lineup on Sustain Release Festival in NYC, it was all a blast. 

I had the pleasure to first meet the Ute crew in Spring 2019, playing their club night at Blå in Oslo. Already had a good feeling when they picked me up from the airport and were playing Global Communication while driving through misty evergreen trees. Oslo freakishly reminded me a lot of my hometown of Seattle, just a bit less mountainous and hilly. That summer, we shared a lineup in Säule Berghain and at the end of season I was invited to play at one of their forest parties (bless) alongside their residents and Alpha Tracks - it was a really fun run! :~)

Ever since Holldën refocused on Kuiper Noise — the label he founded back in 2017 — as his main musical output vessel, he has been quickly ascertaining himself as a merciless provider of infectious floor tracks, delivering knockout punch after knockout punch in an unsettlingly breezy and effective way.

And while 'Off The Bone' follows a similar template for energetic groove-making and layered textures, it still manages to strike a difference in the series on the back of its circular structures and blunt loop drive, building on scenes reverent of cult club techno.

Perhaps the shiniest example of its driving force might just be 'Mona Loser', the stellar opening banger which checks all levels on the pleasure scale, donning a façade of grooves both muscular and sexy, and riding it out with a storm of percussive exchanges and feel-good vocal sampling.
Strikingly, track #2 — 'The Wrath of Bambi' — presents an almost entirely opposite tone, setting up a heavy and driving mood from the get-go, which progresses confidently into an ever more conflicting tone as it races to the end, while still managing to stay loyal to the main structural tenets of the EP.

Back to bounce school, the record splashes onwards with 'Contra Peach', an addictive tribute to classic techno which manages to stay engaging all the way via its shapeshifting dynamics and rhythm swings, dexterously paving the way to 'The Mystery of Socks', a suiting finale — full of feathery high notes and distinctive colors — to a proper release by a producer at the height of his powers.

Polish Techno.logy was created in 2017 as a podcast series project. Over the years, it has become a respectful platform which hosted sets of many local artists as well as the international ones. 
Among many others we invited artists such as Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Joton, Bralle, Anne, Falling Echoes, Antonio de Angelis, Casual Treatment, D/n, Red Rooms, Juri Heidemann, Decka and many more.

As a natural progression we started to promote the music, which correlates with our vision by working with artists, collectives and labels and uploading their tracks as premieres.
So far, we have been trusted by such labels as Planet Rhythm, Newrhytmic Recs, KSR, SK Eleven, VOXNOX Berlin, OECUS, Out Of Place, Prophet Recordings, Immaterial Archives, Devotion Records, METHODICAL and many more.
