South East London native Ben Hauke is a rare breed of dance fanatic who holds dear a refreshingly hands on approach when it comes to cooking up new music. Typically favouring his MPC 500 over the cut-and-paste process of modern production software, the beat-making maestro isn’t afraid to express himself and effortlessly moves across spaces, such as jazz, breaks, garage and acid with ease. Following the success of 'One Year Dance', the last project of Ben's on his self-minted Woop Records, his forthcoming EP 'NoBol', out October 12, promises a brand new collection of 4x4 pumpers doused in his trademark South London style.

Helming the latest in our mix series, Hauke hands in a non-stop hour of genre-spanning dance floor heaters, slotting moody, low-slung house and techno alongside bubbling acid, breaks, electro and everything in between, forcing you to bounce in a way that the producer and DJ's output always does.

Step back into the gritty, 90s underground with Danny Wabbit's latest EP, "The Man with the Sauce.".

Kicking off the EP is the title track, "The Man with the Sauce," where Danny establishes himself as the sauce boss of the scene. With its infectious bassline and old-school samples, this track sets the tone for the raw energy that follows.

Next up is "Cash or Credit," a relentless groove that pulses with the urgency of late-night escapades and back-alley deals.

"Think About It" takes listeners on a journey through the labyrinthine alleys of mind. With its brooding atmosphere and intricate rhythms, this track invites contemplation while keeping the dance floor moving.

Closing out the EP is "If Not Now, Then When," a reflective yet driving anthem that urges listeners to seize the moment and embrace the chaos of the night.

Their 2019 EP for Apron Records was one of my favorite releases of the year and it was such a pleasure for Zopelar and Sallum take over my show. Rameau Velez, aka Pounces, was born and raised in the Caribbean, and always brings a globally-influenced style to his productions and DJ sets. Named after a classical composer and born into a family of musicians, Pounces has a wide-ranging musical palette that spans across genres and cultures. Now based in Denver, he is part of a trio called Haus Catz that is quickly emerging as one the city's premier underground electronic acts, with support from Baltra, dameeeela, Martyn Bootyspoon, DJ Plead, and more.
