The song has an ambivalent meaning. On the one hand, consuming media or indulging in a popular pastime can be emotionally satisfying for the moment, but not in the long run. On the other hand, the desire for more can also become an addiction and a bottomless pit and therefore it is important to keep a balance and contemplatively explore the actual basis for happiness in order to maintain a healthy approach to consumption. We also can't get enough of creating music and realising our vision. Musically, we have implemented this idea by having a robotic voice mantra-like repeat the song title as the essence of consumerism. The gloomy mood almost seems to take a positive turn, but then dissolves into a longing for more without being resolved.'

Powernerd is the alter ego of a viennese producer, focusing on retrofuturistic music with a modern edge.
He prefers to stay anonymous to let the music speak for itself.
The first release of Powernerd was 2016's Nerd Power and since then he has collaborated with many well known artists like Waveshaper,  Neon Nox, Volkor X, LeBrock, Dana Jean Phoenix, Absolute Valentine, Edictum, Call Me Sleeper, MAGNAVOLT, Adieu Aru and others.

While starting in 2016 with classic Synthwave like Dystopia or lending his guitar skills to tracks like Twisted Getaway, Powernerd has shifted his focus towards heavier, midtempo and cyberpunk inspired music like Dark Triads.

Releasing on Aim To Head Records and Lazerdiscs Records.
