A Warrior’s Paradise

The Ticking Hand 🕰️
This one just came about creating a drum beat and playing the piano chords on top, everything else was built around it. The guitar parts were the last to be added.


Guitars used:
Yamaha Revstar Standard(P90 pickups)
Fender Precision Bass 

Plugins used:
Line 6 Helix Native used for both guitar and bass
Toontrack EZ Keys upright piano and synthwave for the arpegio sequence (the lead synth sound in the chorus was created and played on guitar)

Une nouvelle chanson, dont le thème pourrait se laisser décrire ainsi : quand dans la vie le soir descend, la musique cligne encore et toujours vers ta jeunesse : elle est en ce sens un surplus de vie, comme lorsque le soleil décline , mais offre un surplus de lumière en cueillant une orange sur l'arbre du soir

With great pleasure and excitement I want to invite you to this magical journey into the world of "Abracadabra!". This album took us a whole year to compose and record - from August 2019 to August 2020. When we were close to finishing it up, we faced this difficult choice - what track to select for making a music video. It was a challenge! This whole album was composed as a cinematic adventure, so, basically, any track from it can be turned into the music video. We ended up asking all the participating musicians for their favorite tracks. It was quite symbolic that "Time" - the opening track - won the majority of the votes. This music video is the result of few months of scouting for locations, shaping the costume, makeup and accessories, filming and editing. We all hope you will enjoy it.

I want to thank again everyone who was a part of this project: 
- Phil DiMercurio (aka PdubJamz) for his drums and percussion truly transformed the album.
- Yamaha Artist Yoed Nir for the wondrous cello.
- Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Alexa Ray for the amazing vocals.
- Producer of several Grammy-nominated artists, Matthew Shell, who supervised mixing & mastering of "Abracadabra!", Erik Fredriksen for mixing and Steven Vagovics for mastering.
- Anastasia Frenkel for drawing such amazing artworks for each track! Vibrant, mystical, haunting, surreal - just like we envisioned this album to be. 

And, of course, I'd like to thank my husband who was behind the whole production of the album and the upcoming music video.
