Release Info: 
Producer of the moment, Yotto steps up for The ReMix Collection (after a 15 month hiatus), following updates of seminal ‘90s Renaissance tracks from such heavyweights as Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, Solomun, Adam Beyer, Tale Of Us, and Patrice Baumel.

Originally released in 1993, ‘Garden Of Peace' was an immediate Renaissance anthem. It became synonymous with one man in particular, John Digweed, who cemented the track’s legendary status when he included it on his 'Journeys By DJ 'compilation the following year. Even today he’s been known to slide it into the mix, most recently episode 10 of his legendary Bunker streams. And the track has other contemporary fans too; a certain Maceo Plex was heard dropping it in 2020. Yotto’s modern interpretation is a high-octane juxtaposition of thunderous bass, rising pads and THAT vocal. As Yotto says, "'Garden Of Peace' is a record I missed first time around as a kid and had only heard on a mix, never knowing what it was, so when Renaissance approached me about a remix there was a strange sense of familiarity. The original is full of classic progressive house mystery and, while I took the whole thing apart, I wanted to keep that emotion with my interpretation.”

Providing a release from the EP's tension, "Panorama" blossoms slowly, traversing  melancholic arpeggios and dissonant chords with crisp undertones before giving way to celestial chimes and melodic progressions that soar through over subtle kicks.

Alongside Global Underground’s TWENTY (20 Year Anniversary), GUMUSIC celebrates its 100th single release on 20th October with the re-release of a GU classic Roland Klinkenberg Feat DJ Remy ‘Mexico Can Wait’, with a slew of remixes from Gabriel Ananda, Matthew Jonson and more.
 
Some of the remixers are winners from a remix competition we ran earlier in the year, the standards were very high with some big emerging talent entering. Winner Francesco Pico turned in a hypnotic chilled version that set it apart, with Jaap Ligthart, Mateo Murphy, Robert R. Hardy and Pano Manara creating some amazing versions of their own.

We end this day with an important collaboration for us. We are talking about an artist we have been following for a long time and who has been playlisted on our events. This is a dark deephouse, dynamic and rythmed, and it is always good to make the dancefloor of clubs shaking : yes, Kastis Torrau is here! His Phil Martyn's Remix 'Come on' will be released on 26th September on Perspectives Digital, and the whole Ep is a delight to hear. Moreover the second original 'midnight' has his own Remix by the Croatian expert Petar Dundov ! Enjoy :)

The latest release on Clubsonica Records welcomes Kamilo Sanclemente back to the label for a brand-new EP. Long regarded as one of Colombia's foremost progressive house talents, Kamilo has found a home on Einmusika, Manual Music and Parquet Recordings, while earning continued support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Now fresh off a remix for ICONYC, Kamilo returns to Clubsonica for his debut artist showcase entitled 'Homeward'.

In a journey spread across three tracks it's the chunky grooves of 'Gemma' which gets things underway. Fast becoming Kamilo's trademark, it's free flowing storyboard is a delight for the senses, with the first act taking shape as a tasteful arp fades into prominence. Deeply hypnotic, the energy shifts with clustered claps and sizzling modulation, before eventually culminating in a tepid rush of crystalline melodies and airy vocal pads. 

The pure progressive house vibes continue with the EP's second selection 'People From The Future'. Kamilo's penchant for warm, contoured grooves is what makes this such a dance floor gem. Deep, rolling and with a bevy of momentum it anchors the tight rhythmic core and dulcet hooks perfectly. A lone vocal stab adds epic flair as the jangly melodies evolve, before getting washed away as a spiritual vocal initiate a classy drop and purring finale. 

The release concludes with its title and showcase piece 'Homeward' which sits as the most reflective of the three. On a backbone of pulsating bass comes acidic rhythms and symphonic pads. The smooth euphoric build is expertly executed and perfectly dialled for the dance floor as cascading arps and phasing harmonics carry through a poignant second act. Positively electric yet remarkably restrained this gentle sonic vortex culminates, before giving way to the warm, euphoric groove once more. It rounds out three stunning tracks from Kamilo, which further cements his place in the progressive house elite.
