Prabumi’s characteristic when it comes to ecstatic dance, the journey begins with low tempos up to a high, with music from multiple genres from around the world, creating a full circle. Simply put, it’s a journey going up and down the mountain.

Prabumi is a collaborative effort initiated by Muktito Adhitya, an electronic music producer and musician. He began his career at a young age, composing music as early as 7 years old. Over time, Muktito became increasingly drawn to exploring life through travel and immersion in nature. He developed a deep fascination and appreciation for the sounds of nature and felt compelled to preserve them through the medium of music, harnessing the harmonious melodies and harmonies they offer. Prabumi represents one of Muktito's most recent explorations into music, incorporating the sounds of nature, traditional world music instruments, and the earth itself. Guided by his passion and intuition, Muktito has masterfully fused these organic elements into a rich tapestry of dynamic music imbued with the beauty of nature's own symphonies.

Prabumi is also a movement that uses music as its medium, responding to the sounds of nature, world and domestic traditional music instruments, and earth sounds. The name 'Prabumi' can be interpreted as a state before man as it is today. A long time ago, human beings were one without classification of race, ethnicity, nationality, or state. In essence, Prabumi is a movement that aims to reunite and remind people that we are one, we are the same, with no exceptions, equal beings, through music.

created here in Rock Valley , NSW. Selecting a few key tracks that where played in ceremony a few nights ago. celebrating a dear friends 28th birthday. sitting in sacred space with hongito, 4 of us took the journey into the mystery, for a tiny eternity. most of these tracks carrying us deeper into ourselves, and deeper into the tryptamine realms. psilocybe subaeruginosa is a very potent medicine, 3.5 dry grams equals in comparison 5 grams of cubensis. 

everything is in its right place. very grateful to have been in contact again with such a very sacred medicine, something so very dear to all of our hearts. gracias to the medicine of the music, of the plants, and eachother. 

May the music guide you into a deeper appreciation for your life here on planet earth, and inspire you to help this movement into inner and outer peace!

Travelling Without Moving

I played this Ecstatic Dance journey live at Jarans, Koh PhaNgan.

This feels like a milestone for me as a professional DJ.
Up until a few months ago, i was playing a slower edition of ED.
Lately i've been including more intense, faster and tribal tracks, and keeping the intensity for longer.

This is the most intense set I've ever played, for the largest number of people, and I had such much fun !!

The music I used to play was more 'serious', 'shamanic' and 'sophisticated',  but now I enjoy including some commercial and silly tracks.

I was especially excited to play 3 of my own tracks and witness how people responded.
