Praxis is a record label dedicated to experimental hardcore and radical breaks and other forms of challenging electronic music and noise. Founded in 1992 by Christoph Fringeli in London, Praxis is now based in Berlin, where we also run the Praxis online shop and distribution.
We also publish Datacide - the magazine for noise & politics in print and online.

i'm a commited Audio (t-) Errorist since 1999.
In 1999 I got into Hardcore and Gabber. I invented the name Davy Zealot back then. 

I started producing Hardcore, Speedcore in Dec 2001. 
I started DJing with vinyl in 2003.

I found myself not fitting into the "Gabber" scene.
I rather found my place in the "underground" scene where I could play the darker side of hardcore.

I started also producing Psytrance and Acid Techno since 2008.
Since 2011 I focused on producing Psytrance.
Since 2012 I focused on producing downtempo industrial Hardcore which I named "Traagkore", a name I coined already in 2008.
In 2017 I started focusing on producing an experimental style of speedcore.
In 2020, I decided to focus on DJing again. 

Most DJ's, producers, search for predictable, familiair sounds. 
I'm searching for the craziest noise on the planet.

drawing from a seemingly endless source of technical knowledge, raw talent and an unearthly focus, san francisco based audio/visual artist tod cook has created a legacy of intense music, art and performance in his 16 years as an electronic artist.
cook grew up creating computer music from an early age, as well as working as a professional sound tech throughout his teenage years, honing his skills as a dJ and producer and creating an endless output of music.
a key figure in the michigan experimental scene, cook co-ran the noiseusse.org web label, and was influential in the underground party scene.
As the chief sound technician of the california branch of the notorius 5lowershop soundsytem, cook has organized and perfomed at countless events under a number of alias'(dJ crackhouse, $limelord, 666gangstaZ, Dj Hugealer) and has released material for slowleak records, noiseusse.org, 5lowershop soundsystem and teen suicide records.
continuing a fevered schedule of live performances, releases and collaborations, cook has also recently been working in video art, motion graphics and website design, all with characteristically spectacular results.
