"It's a Mediterranean blue spilling from my heart, filling me up. Cool, deep, fathomless - between light and dark." 

This is how poet Gainor Ventresco describes "the perfect blue" in one of their poems. While it's unlikely that Ventresco had any ties with Italian DJ and producer Luigi Tozzi, these words perfectly capture the sensation that Tozzi's music evokes. Connected to the Mediterranean and deeply passionate about the ocean, his "Deep Blue" series transports listeners to a peaceful dreamlike state. The vastness of the universe and our subconscious worlds are perceptible within its depths.
Tozzi's refined take on techno in his live sets and productions has gained him increasing attention over recent years. Not to forget his impeccable storytelling skills as a DJ (highly recommend the Acquario Immersioni Sets Pt. 1 & 2), specifically showing up in longer DJ sets where the light and the dark go hand in hand, as they do so in life. 
Luigi shared with us a Live Podcast featuring some unreleased material - this mix is enveloping and absorbing simultaneously.  It is in such a way, that one could feel getting pulled into a magical vortex.

On our wishlist for our mix and Artist of the Moment series for some time now, we connected with this highly analytical, extremely dedicated, genuine and kind artist from Rome.

Here we share the recording of Marie Pravda's opening set of the night at her home club Ankali for the Archiv Teknologi event series.

Marie offered some insight into her set sharing that - 

"For me personally it was quite special time because I dont get to do openings so much lately and it is actually the best slot. No pressure, slowly going from ambient to more rhytmic stuff, keeping it steady and yet building up the energy. I had that moment when I looked in the crowd after some time and the club was full and people just locked in the music.   I am always hoping for a patient crowd so that was heartwarming to see"

Co-founder of Warøk Music, Cløtur is an electronic music producer from Tunis who lives in Paris now. Inspired by ambient and hypnotic techno, he developed his own style, specialised in bassline and acid melodic sound in order to create meaningful atmospheres.

Francesco Visconti, better known as VSK, is an Italian techno dj and producer, born in Rome in 1986 and based in Berlin.
Since his earliest youth he has had a huge passion for electronic music, and through hanging out at the famous record store from the Capital “Remix”, he was introduced to the world of djing when he wa only 16 years old.
He has got familiar to different forms of techno, his style ranging from a sound usually very hard and dark, often with industrial influences, to a very different one, deeper and more mental, both still easily recognizable as coming from the same mind.
	    	    
He started to perform very early as a dj in the clubs of the Capital and from 2007 he was  resident dj at Goa Club for two seasons.
At the same time he met the artist Ken Karter, who introduced him to the world of production and mastering. He began an education as an audio-engineer and sound-designer, in music and especially in television, working in different recording studios; currently he does this alongside his artistic career.

In 2010 he and his friends Conrad Van Orton and Vilix started their own label “Consumer Recreation Service”, which got immediate support from big names in the international techno scene.
Over the years he has relesed  eps on many other important labels such as New Rhythmics, Planet Rhythm, Ear To Ground, Sonntag Morgen, Complex Adaptive System and Genesa.
In 2015 he set up a collaboration with the Serbian artist Scalameriya, releasing a first ep on the English label Power Vacuum, and in 2016 a second one on the legendary label Perc Trax. Their collaboration is not limited to production, but it also includes live performances.                            In the same year he also signed an extended six-track ep with Conrad Van Orton on Developer’s imprint Modularz (USA).
